You’ve been lied to.

Not directly—but constantly.

Every ad, every promise, every “success story” has conditioned you to expect results right now. And when they don’t come fast enough, you assume something is wrong—with your strategy, your effort… or you.

But the truth is far more dangerous:

You’re not failing.

You’re just playing the wrong timeline.

Key Takeaways:

  • The cultural obsession with instant gratification and short-term thinking
  • Why “right now” thinking creates anxiety, fear, and poor decisions
  • The difference between short-term survival and long-term creation
  • How real success is built through time, pressure, and consistency
  • The emotional and mental cost of living in panic mode
  • Why most people sabotage themselves chasing speed over alignment
  • The concept of SPEm (spiritual, physical, emotional, mental alignment)
  • Detaching from “manner, size, and time” expectations
  • Why frustration and urgency create “poison” in your system
  • How to shift from frantic energy to intentional creation
  • The power of loving your life while building your future
  • Measuring success through alignment instead of speed or money
  • Why your mission should energize you daily—not exhaust you

Are you in for the quick hit or are you good for the long game? Because that's where the value is. Welcome to the show. Tired of the hype about living the dream. It's time for truth. This is the place for tools, power and real talk. So you can create the life you dream and deserve your ultimate life. Subscribe, share, create. You have infinite power. Hi.Welcome to your ultimate life. Isn't that a cool picture? Wow. Hourglass. And a person there moving in the distance. And a golden path. What a cool picture. So what I want to talk about today is what I said, the long game. The long game, what is that? Well, we live in a download and double click world.I don't know about you, but everything that is advertised on television, everything that is promoted on billboards is about right now. Take a vacation right now. You need stress relief right now. You're broken. You need this. You need to buy this thing right now, whatever it is.Right now. The new tv, the biggest screen, the best computer, the vacation, the new skis, the whatever it is, everything is by right now. Why?Because we are built in our society to do short term, short term, short term. Quarterly profits, all boards. I've been on those boards. What's happening this quarter? What's our budget look like? What's our sales forecast? Oh, no.What are we going to do?The, you know, the management philosophies of the 80s, 90s and 2000s was cut that bottom 10% of the workforce, fire the 10%, lowest performers every year. So everybody lived in fear. Short term, short term. All right, now, I've made enough of a point about that. That's the world we live in.How much money do you have this month? Is there too much month left at the end of the money? We all know what that feels like. It's the 15th.You know there's a song by Alan Parsons called Up against the Wall or Back against the wall or something. And it started, my God, it's only Tuesday tomorrow. And your loved one's gone and blown it all.You got no money and you feel your back against the wall. Well, that was compressed even more sort of a weekly time frame. And it's only Tuesday tomorrow, which means today's Monday and your loved one has gone and blown it all. Presumably money, gambling, drugs, who knows? You don't know. But that's what it feels like now. You got no money and your back's up against the wall. And the song goes on and talks about that and that's not the point today. But that feeling drives so much of what we're doing in the coaching world. It is also that way. Now. Yesterday we did the.Thursday we did the episode about coaching in the rise of AI. Today's something completely different. It's about how we are living our lives, the approach we have. But I'm going to reference a couple of coaching things. So when I talk to coaches, either in groups, when I speak at conferences, or when I might have a client that is a coach, and most of my clients aren't, but there are some. And so then the question becomes, I just. My. My income fluctuates up and down, up and down. And they're almost always referring to monthly, sometimes quarterly cycles. Once in a while someone will say, well, last year was really good and this year's bad. You know what I rarely hear?Well, last year was a struggle, but this year is kicking butt. Yeah, I usually hear it, well, we had a couple of good years, but boy, the last year has really eaten my heart out. I wonder why that's true.Different philosophical conversation. But my question is twofold, about the long game. Are you actually playing the long game or are you in it for the short term? Now it's important to have both horizons. We talked in other episodes about time, about faith and, you know, about all those kinds of things. But today I want it to be rubber meets the road.Because building your ultimate life is not a trivial thing. It's something. It's not something. Sorry. You do in an afternoon. Okay, let's see. So on my checklist, okay? Ultimate life. Okay, I got two hours left.Okay, Tick, we got that built. Nothing is like that. I want you to think about diamonds for a minute. Diamonds are formed under intense heat and pressure and they take some time.Fossils, you know, we have big contra controversy about coal and oil, natural gas, fossil fuels. They formed over a long period of time. They were not fly by night things, right? And in the right places. There's more in some and less in others. And different kinds of.And the turmoil in the world right now with the Middle east and all that stuff that's been going on for decades right now as I record this, there's a. There's a war going on, another one in the Middle East. We just sort of halfway finished one and now we've got another one rolling. And a lot of that has to do with this critical supply oil that formed over a long period of time.So I want you to think about your life and I want you to think about four parts of your life, your spiritual or energetic piece Your physical like your body, the container, your emotional, which is how you feel. Your relationships, the people you know you hang around with, the people you love. You know, your circles and your mental, spiritual, physical, emotional, mental. Now those that have been with me for a while know that acronym is spem.S P E M. And it is the key and the core of creating an amazing diamond studded daily creation process. I use that process to create a diamond encrusted day every single day. But we're not going to talk about that today. The exact process, I might refer to it. But if you're curious, there's Here's a website, kellenflukeigermedia.com and you do have to spell my name right. Kellen flukegar media.com.There's a contact form, contact me headline or the subject line. Daily creation. Let's talk. Because I can give you a diamond encrusted daily creation process that will guarantee success every day.And that doesn't mean everything goes the way you want, but you will have success. All right, so let's move into the long game. Let's zoom way out from that 100 years. Now there's a dude, I think it was a dude.Yeah, a dude that wrote a book called 4000 Weeks. And he assumed 80 years and 80 times 50. I know there's 52 weeks, but 80 times 50 is 4000.So he said 4000 weeks and then he proceeded to talk about, you know, what meant, how do we create meaning and how we sometimes have too long of horizons and what we can realistically do in these 4,000 weeks. And it was an interesting book. And this is not a book endorsement. It just reminded me of that 8200 years. So let's zoom out our life here. This dude's hourglass right there. I hope you're watching the video. That dude's trail, that lasts 4,000 weeks.5,000 If he's got 100 years, 6,000 if it's 120, but it's still a trivial amount. And you know, I saw something the other day that said in the opinion of this researcher, the first person to live to 150 has already been born in terms of advances in health and so forth. While you sure wouldn't know it, with the unhealthy epidemic, the obesity, the mental illness crisis, you, you know, those are antithetical things.First person to live 150 years already been born. Oh, wait a minute, we've got record. Unhealth, mental, physical. Different topic. Anyway, so after your 5000 weeks there is an eternity.Like, I want you to think about that. See where that path there goes into the horizon, that bright light. You. We don't know as common knowledge what exists out there past that sunset. If you think about Invictus, you know the phrase, beyond this veil of. Or pain and tears lies but the horror of the shade. And I think I've quoted that wrong. I don't think it was pain, a wrath.Beyond this veil of wrath and tears lies but the horror of the shade, the darkness, the unknown, the thing. Right? Ooh. And so that's one view. Another view is that there's a reincarnation or another chance to have a different life.Another view that threads through all that, is that there is a continuation. The horror of the shade sort of presupposes we don't have a freaking clue. And it's dark and scary. What if it's not? What if there is an eternity out there of more opportunity? So if you think about eternity, or even if you think about 100 years, but let's go for eternity. How important is a three year delay? If I'm building a project, an important one, and I am, I'm building the Ultimate Life University. It's a large project. It has four separate schools in it.And it's designed for you to help you create and live and enjoy wealth, impact and meaning that ultimate life. And each school is aimed at that in a different way.School of Transformational Authorship and Creation to transform both the authority and those who receive it. The School of Transformational Coaching aimed specifically at those people I was talking about yesterday, those remaining 5% of coaches. And that's all there, that there will be left who are the truthful embodiment of what they coach. And the School of Transformational Leadership and Business. Business is going to change. Leadership is already changing.I got a friend right now that just wrote a book and he just publishing. He just did a best seller campaign a week or two ago about leadership and love. You know, 20 years ago, 30 years ago, when I was in the midst of all that corporate stuff, that kind of language would be laughable. I was working 30 years ago under a CEO.I was a CEO, but I was working under a CEO that said, I don't care how hard it is, I don't care how many divorces we. You will do you know that kind of feeling. And in private, he spoke with that much rancor. And in public, with determination and firmness. Same thing. So love in leadership. So we know that there's change. We know that the Evolution of love, Christ, consciousness lifting, serving. We are living more, we're being drawn more into the fullness of who we really are, divine beings. At the same time, there is more divisiveness, anger, bitterness, name calling, violence, vitriol than there has ever been.So there's a widening schism and you can feel it and see it and so can I. Right. So what are we doing about that in our own way? All right, so we're talking about what is a three year delay? What is a five year delay? When I was said I was building the university, I was going to open all four schools this year. I'm not as I have begun working on it, I'm opening it is open now. The School of Transformational Authorship and Coaching right there on the screen.Dream build. Write it. If you want an introduction to the school of Transformational Authorship and Creation. Not coaching, sorry, Transformational Authorship and Creation, go there. Dream build, Write it. There's a challenge on May 11 that will change your life. It will give you tools to make money you do not have today. And it will give you power in your own language, your ability to create that you do not have today. If you want it, if you don't want it and you're happy and you're already living your ultimate life, rock and roll.If you're not and you want something that will create power, joy and income, sign up for the challenge. Dream build. Write it dot com. So that's the first school. But back to my timeline. Not happening this year.I'm thinking I then I moved it to one per year and my optimistic self wants to compress that a little. So the school of Transformational coaching will open late in the fall this year maybe. And that's based on the book Coaching and the Rise of AI and how the coaching industry is now radically changing. We talked about that yesterday and if you didn't listen to yesterday, Thursday's episode, you need to if you want to understand that, especially if you're a coach and if you haven't read this book as a coach, you're missing the most seminal work that is available today on that topic and how it's evolving. So even a five year delay or a ten year delay, I went from doing them all in one year to now four years. So that's a three year delay before full realization. And I realize now that's the more powerful way to do it. The impatient part of me wants everything yesterday. One of the ways we get contaminated about that delay is we have the myth that we're Going to starve to death. We have the myth that we're not going to make enough money. We got to do this and we got to have more products and we got to post more on social. We got to do this and, and, and we, we end up feeling like this.Well, I don't know about you, but when I feel like this or when the water's right up to here, I'm barely keeping my nose above water and not drowning.Seeing those scenes usually in a boat or in a car when it's gone in the water and somebody inside's, you know, struggling for breath and they're craning their neck up to that last remaining air pocket. Well, when that's happening, financially or emotionally for you, how well are you able to focus and be creative? You're not.We have the panic mode, and that means we do whatever we need to at the moment, which usually means we need to clean up a bunch of stuff later. Once in a great while that might be appropriate. But 99% of the time it's just lack of planning and lack of focus.I have a client right now who perpetually puts themselves in a frantic situation. Frantic things are going good, bad, good, bad, good, bad. And it's not monthly, but it's over longer three months, six month period of time. This cycle that is recurring, absolutely recurring, as predictable as the sunrise. And they can't see it.Well, they can look outside and acknowledge that it's happening, but the things that they need to do to go for the long term are not happening. So let's think about your hundred year perspective. We know, you know, in, in geopolitical terms, China talks about their hundred year plan.Well, that's way beyond the death of several. Whoever's leading now and the next one, and maybe even the next one. So they're thinking about a hundred year plan. And there may be other governments and societies that do that intentionally. The creator of this earth certainly had that in mind. Thinking in millennia and maybe much, much longer, thousands, millions of years. So when you do that and you think about, you know, down the road, you have two possibilities. One, you can get discouraged and say, why isn't it here yet? Why isn't it here yet? How come it's not now? And that used to be a real struggle for me.Meltdown. And then for me, it defaulted to, what am I doing wrong? It's my fault. You know, that sort of language internally and externally. And I quit blaming others focused it all on me. That might have to do with decades of depression before I started doing something about it 20 years ago at 52.But the, the truth is, what if you stopped saying, why isn't it here yet? I don't know, just a suggestion, and said, what kind of life am I building while it unfolds? Now, if you knew it was going to take five more years to do whatever, you could still be frantic that it isn't faster than five and be looking for hacks and, you know, uncom. I'm not. I should. I can make it four, I can make it three. You can live like that, and that's poison, destructive energy. And you'll miss creativity and you'll miss all the fun. Or you can say, all right, I'm going to methodically, intentionally create this over this five year timeline. And maybe there will be some things that come along that shorten it a bit or lengthen it a bit, that's okay. But what I'm committed to do is loving my flipping life in the meantime. What if you did that?Well, let me talk about that for a minute because that is a real shift that Kellen has made that has moved me from a frantic to a completely relaxed, at peace, 100% joyful person every day. I love it. And you know, when I was living in that other energy, I didn't believe that was possible.Just get this, just sign as many clients, just get this done, not finished. When I get this, oh, get these 10 things off my plate, then, boy, if that energy resonates with you, we need to talk because it never gets done. And what happens in us when we do that energy is we create poison. If you knew that every time you got frustrated like this, three drops of strychnine went into your bloodstream, or arsenic, you wouldn't do it.You catch yourself right now. Well, it isn't strychnine or arsenic, but it is a neurotransmitter cocktail that's poison. There was a book I read called Anger Kills, written by a doctor in New York City. And I read it some 15, 18 years ago, 2010, I think. And he did a long, had done a long term study about people that lived perpetually frustrated, angry at themselves or others, you know, living with that kind of energy, and documented multiple years, five to seven years off their life because of the corrosive effect of those chemicals and perpetual misery, health problems and struggle, all the way up to dying five to seven years earlier. Oh, how fun. Oh, let's sign up for that right now. The thing I'm talking about isn't just relax and Kick back, but you're not that. You have visions and you have goals, but usually people have a healthy dose of frustration or unbelief mixed in there. The salt we use is, oh, I'll never get that. Oh, I sure wish I could. Instead of comfortably and joyfully creating.Yeah, and there might be a little leak in the roof over here and I gotta run over there and do something about it. And I can do something about it with anger and frustration because it knocked me, me off my path.Or I can just go fix the leak and enjoy the learning opportunity. Overcoming setbacks, learning from failures or things that didn't go the way we wanted, and embracing trials as sacred teachers. When you think about the eternity after that, I don't know about you, but having lived decades of my life a certain way and now having 20 years almost going on 20 another way, and I got some years left. I'm 70 right now, and I'm going to live till I'm 132. So I got 62 years left. When I think about those decades, I want to. I choose. I am, I don't want.I am choosing to live in a state of growing bliss, productivity in a good way, and joyful anticipation. And when I think about whatever is after that sunset out there, right, I'm thinking, I can't wait. I can't wait to see what the next phase is.Now, as I get older, my body's breaking. You know, I wear hearing aids and contacts that are special because my eyes are so bad. And I walk with a cane now. Oh, yum, Right? And I hope it doesn't get too painful and too debilitating, but it's going to be whatever it is, and I'm going to love it every step just because I can. And it doesn't stop me from having joy or productivity, which I have and I love. All right, so let's talk about mission. I don't know. I have a mission. My mission is to create 3,000 millionaires. I'm doing that in the next five years. I'm going to create 3,000 millionaires.I'm going to find 3,000 people that are willing to join my millionaire maker club. And by millionaires, I don't mean paper or fake. I mean that their yearly take home not over, not top line, yearly take homes. A million bucks.I know how to do that. I love it. It's fun. And you can do it. You have the gifts and talents, and I've got the secret sauce. So if you want to do that, you ought to Get a hold of me and if anything, I invite you to. During this call speaks to you, I'll tell you how to do it. Kellen flukeiger Media, where you can learn about the stuff that we're up to.But kellenslukigermedia.com there's a contact form. Millionaire Makers Club. Million bucks a year. Take home 3,000 of them. Don't know if that interests you, but if it does, talk to me. All right. My work, that's one piece of my mission.I've expressed it otherwise, saying I'm going to reach 300 million people with podcasts and shows and talks and products and services and the ripple effect. One of the things I love to do on this show is have you here with me to tell about your products and services. That guy that wrote the book about love and leadership, he was a guest a little while ago.And I have all kinds of guests that talk about their own vision to change the world, their own life experience that they've translated into love and service, and they're living with that power. And I love to be the amplifier for you. So if you want to be here on a show and talk about your stuff, I want to have you.Alan flukeigermedia.com the contact form. Reach out and tell me podcast subject line podcast. So I'll know what you're doing and then tell me what you want to talk about. If you're adding good to the world, you're on. All right. So what happens when you live this way and you have this mission, however you would describe yours, is that you end up feeling energized every day. That idea of, oh, how come it isn't here yet? Just evaporates. It gets burned off by the brightness of that light in the horizon there. It does.It becomes sacred to you, becomes special. Now, I just had a sandwich for lunch before recording this, and I'm sure that doesn't interest you, but I am. Want to talk about soul food.Food for the soul. Your mission becomes the food for your soul.Like, literally, honestly, every time you think about it, you talk about it, you articulate it, you get jazzed, and new ideas come. Now, one danger is that when those come, we get jazzed about them. We think, you know, I could do this and could do that. And that word could, that's a. That's a poison pill because it's. It's almost like cud. I could do this and could do the cud. Cud. Cud. Cud is what cows chew forever. What? I could.Yeah, you could. When you have a blast of inspiration or creativity, make some notes and then pick one to move on now.And before you move on it, spend time, resources, maybe money, love, creativity, whatever you're spending on it. Look at your vision, that horizon. What are your long term hundred year goals? Does this thing line up with that?If it's off in another direction, don't throw it away. If it came in a moment of inspiration, put it on the shelf for later because you know what happens. Oh this, oh that, oh this. That results in a thousand shelf products that never get done, a thousand good ideas about books that never get written, that never lift and bless the lives of those they could. Why would we do that? I don't wish that on anyone. Your work becomes sacred because it's yours to do. You and you alone have a particular mission. You may or may not believe that. I know that's true. But I'm not here to convince you.I know it's true because I died and had conversations about that very topic with God at the door between life and eternity. If you're interested in reading about what happened, there's a book I wrote called Meeting God at the Door.Conversations, Choices and Commitments of a Near Death experience. Only death, I flatlined. It was real life. And what I learned in that place, and you can read the details in the book, is that we all have a mission and purpose that we not only agreed to, but we were stoked about and we were given the gifts and talents we need to do it. They weren't fully developed. We have to develop them. Just like a baby's got to learn to walk or an acorn grows gradually into an oak.But we were given the talents that would help us enjoy as well as complete that purpose. So you do have a purpose. It's always tied to your life experience. It's always tied to your creative yearnings. The thing is, most of us don't pay attention to that. We don't really lean into it. We, we tell excuses like, well, it sure would be nice if I could just blur. I've said that I love music. So I have a hundred, nearly 197 songs in commercial release. The last 35 have been pop style, meaning lyrics and vocals and stuff, telling stories about these very things. And in fact, I have a concert on March 25th. Now this episode is going to be released after that. So the next one will be April 22nd. Look on my Facebook page for event details. That's me expressing creativity, but I want to see yours. I want to know what you're doing. I want to attend your unveiling concert. Whatever it is, I want to see that. And here's another piece. So I told you I was going to give you a lot of keys. And here's another one. All the ones I'm giving you are ones that have tripped me up and have, you know, landed me on my face. Bam, bam, bam, bam.Because until I learned them. And that is this detachment from arrival. So we have these grand and glorious vision and we're stoked out of our gourd about getting there. Yeah. And then we attach a thing called mst, Manner, size and time. So we have a picture of exactly what it looked like. Gotta look like the size and the timing.Well, when you're creating life altering visions, even if it's only a five year vision or a ten year vision, not a whole life vision, the way it's going to materialize, I promise you, is going to be different than you first imagined. Viz. Because we don't have perfect foresight and because we change along the road. You don't think that dude along that road changed as he walked that path? As the sands in that hourglass went through? Of course he did. Think about who you are now and who you were 10 years ago or 20. I. That's easy for me.I think about me before 52 and I was a completely unrecognizable person compared to today. So the manner in which your dreams manifest is going to be different. The size is going to be different. Like I've set specific goals.3000 Millionaires with million take home pay a year. And the size could change. It's going to.But I have an initial goal out there for five years and I am not attached manner, size and time, meaning exactly how fast. And all of those used to trip me up. And when I didn't see things going along the trajectory I wanted, I got mad.Not at God, not at the universe and not at anybody else. I used to. But then it was all about me. I must be whatever, fill in the blank. You know that drill. None of that helps get you there.Learning from setbacks, overcoming trials and embracing difficulties. As sacred teachers, you know. All right, here's. Let's talk about how to measure real success, the real measure of success. If you say success, the only measure is a million bucks in my wallet. You're limiting yourself. You're way more important and powerful than that. That will come. But we typically measure success by how fast it is.Is it right now? What's the scale? Did I Make a trillion dollars last week or a thousand or a hundred thousand or whatever. You know, those numbers are just numbers.Anything's possible if we move the right levers. Okay, what, here's what real success is. Alignment. What is, what the heck does that mean? That's a overused woo woo word. So let's take it apart.Alignment means a simple definition. You know those little pirates spy glasses. If a captain on a ship is looking through a spyglass and he can't see that, if they're, you know, close enough to see land, if he can't see land through that spyglass, the ship's going the wrong way, right? If I look over here, oh, I can't. There's the land, but the ship's going that way. I'm in trouble just like that.If you and I, we can't see our goals, the realization of those, those missions statements through the lens of our daily activities. In other words, if moment to moment, the things I'm doing today don't take me to that place. I'm doing the wrong things. And we've all got housekeeping stuff to do. And I'm not talking about that. And you know that we have to be able to see that clearity, clarity, clearly that lens, right? And here's where fear and discouragement and that manner, size and time problem come in. We get sidetracked. We're going to tweak the website and the logo and you know, get binge watch some programs and I'm going to be depressed today and I need a mental health week and you got to take care of yourself. I love that. And I do it fiercely and furiously without question. And you need to also my self care ritual makes me a monster on fire every day.A good monster. If you want to know that secret, I told you how to get a hold of me.So when we line up when, when everything we do today is lined up with our ultimate goal, we're always in peace because we're always walking forward. Sometimes we're jogging, sometimes we might be running, sometimes we might be crawling. But if we're always aiming at that goal with commitment and with joy and love, you're going to get there and you're going to have to adjust the manner, size and time. And so what? Really, so what? The joy is the journey not specifying the outcomes. Now if you're working in a company as I have, or you've started companies as I have, we need goals, we need KPIs, we need measurement tools, we need feedback loops, we need to increase our skills, sales skills, product skills, delivery skills, customer service skills, speaking skills, whatever it is that makes it work. But how we do those things is the key to everything. That's what leadership and love are about. If I am working on my KPIs and my sales targets and everything else, with that frantic energy of MST matter, size and time, and with doing this all the time, we're not very effective. If we make any progress at all, it'll be going to be microscopic and against a lot of energetic resistance.Remember, we're pouring strychnine drop at a time into our bodies because of that negative energy. So leaning into growth, leaning into love, leaning into opportunity, that's key. So here's a question for you. Do you live your mission every day?If someone watched me or you, my behavior today, your behavior today, including your internal dialogue, would they know what your mission is, really? I'm like, would they be able to walk away and write it down?Because they see it leaking out of your eyes and your ears and your language and your interactions and your conversations. Do you keep moving when doubt appears? Doubt's a normal human condition, just like I said. You know, you got to have KPIs and targets and training and everything else. Doubt and concern and, you know, second guessing, those are. Those are going to appear.
