Unstoppable.

Speaker A

That's what this says.

Speaker A

The question is, what are you doing with the rest of the year?

Speaker A

Welcome to the show.

Speaker A

Tired of the hype about living the dream.

Speaker A

It's time for truth.

Speaker A

This is the place for tools, power and real talk.

Speaker A

So you can create the life you dream and deserve your ultimate life.

Speaker A

Subscribe, share, create.

Speaker A

You have infinite power.

Speaker A

Foreign.

Speaker A

You've got five and a half months left.

Speaker A

Five months, maybe four and a half.

Speaker A

By the time you see this, are you going to waste it?

Speaker A

Is it going to feel like the first half?

Speaker A

Isn't it time to take control right here, right now and give yourself something amazing for New Year's?

Speaker A

I think so.

Speaker A

So the question I'm starting with here is what is this year really about?

Speaker A

Is it just survival?

Speaker A

Are you just going to do the same?

Speaker A

Are you actually living?

Speaker A

Now, before you blow me off and think, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever, here's what I want you to just slow down for a minute and think about what happens day to day for you.

Speaker A

Like what happens.

Speaker A

Do you love your days?

Speaker A

When you wake up in the morning, do you hit snooze several times?

Speaker A

Do you dread getting up and hitting in the day?

Speaker A

Or do you fly out of bed and dash into your morning ritual?

Speaker A

Or I call it a dcp Daily Creation Process because you're so excited about what is on your schedule, what you've chosen to put on your calendar?

Speaker A

One of the common answers I get to this is this.

Speaker A

Well, it depends on the day.

Speaker A

No, it doesn't.

Speaker A

That's completely bogus.

Speaker A

It only depends on the day.

Speaker A

If you say so.

Speaker A

If you say it depends on the day, then you bet your life it depends on the day.

Speaker A

And what you've done is you have given power for joy, productivity, creativity, love, excitement, whatever goody, wonderful, powerful words you want to use, you've given that away.

Speaker A

You've given that power to the schedule you created or to somebody else.

Speaker A

Like you've given it away.

Speaker A

Aren't you tired of giving away your sovereignty?

Speaker A

Aren't you tired of giving away your kingdom, your fortune?

Speaker A

You know your fortune.

Speaker A

Your real fortune is your heart, your love, your excitement, your happiness.

Speaker A

Nobody lays on their deathbed and said, I wish I had more money.

Speaker A

I wish I had more love, deeper relationships, smelled the roses.

Speaker A

You know the list, you've seen it.

Speaker A

So how do you think that happens?

Speaker A

I don't know.

Speaker A

But let me tell you what I think.

Speaker A

I think what happens is we know that we hear that over and over again.

Speaker A

Do the things that are important of Course.

Speaker A

And then we don't.

Speaker A

Yeah, but I just got to get this done first.

Speaker A

Yeah, I know, but.

Speaker A

Yeah, but.

Speaker A

Yeah, but.

Speaker A

Yeah, but reminds me of Bugs Bunny.

Speaker A

Wabbit.

Speaker A

Webbit, Webbit.

Speaker A

Right.

Speaker A

Yeah, but.

Speaker A

Is a poison dart to your heart, right.

Speaker A

It's a stab in your sovereignty, a stab in your divinity.

Speaker A

Yeah, but I got to do this first.

Speaker A

Yeah, but the weather sucks.

Speaker A

Yeah, but I'm going bankrupt.

Speaker A

Yeah, but none of that matters.

Speaker A

It just doesn't matter.

Speaker A

Let me give you an example.

Speaker A

Yesterday morning.

Speaker A

Now it won't be yesterday morning when you hear this because it's coming out in a few weeks, but as I record this, yesterday morning, I get up at 4:30.

Speaker A

I get up at 5 usually, but a little early yesterday, 4:30 and I get up diving into my day.

Speaker A

I live and love that.

Speaker A

I live every day that way.

Speaker A

I love it.

Speaker A

By 5:00, I was so excited about what I had to do today, I couldn't stand it.

Speaker A

I was in the middle of my DCP daily creation process.

Speaker A

Loving it, loving it, loving it.

Speaker A

About 10 after 5, Joy said something to me.

Speaker A

She's in bed and she usually doesn't get up till 8 or 8:30.

Speaker A

You know, we work a different bit of a schedule.

Speaker A

She works later than I do.

Speaker A

I'm in bed by 9:30 and up at 5.

Speaker A

And she said something about her cat named Rubisco.

Speaker A

She said, I think I need to take Rubisco's foaming at the mouth.

Speaker A

I need to take her to the vet, the emergency vet clinic, 24 hour thing.

Speaker A

Now over the last couple of weeks we've been, she's been there and she was on IV fluids and some other stuff for five days or six.

Speaker A

And we had only had her home for about a week, maybe 10 days.

Speaker A

So maybe it was three weeks ago, I don't know.

Speaker A

But anyway, and, and she had been getting better and now she was, it seemed like she was crashing again.

Speaker A

And I said, okay, great, you know, go for it.

Speaker A

And then she said, will you come with me?

Speaker A

And I said without even blinking, of course I will.

Speaker A

Knowing completely well that all the stuff that I had planned to do in my mind, in my excitement and doing my morning ritual and everything was not going to get done.

Speaker A

I knew that and I didn't care, not even one millionth of a molecule because at that moment we have the cat in distress that is absolutely near and dear to Joy's heart.

Speaker A

And I wouldn't think about doing anything else.

Speaker A

And there was not a shred of thought of, oh, Dear XYZ won't get done.

Speaker A

I'm not saying yay me because I didn't used to be like that.

Speaker A

That was a developed skill because I didn't like me the other way.

Speaker A

I didn't like the other person who was okay, whether it was energetically or physically or anything.

Speaker A

Okay, yeah, we'll do that.

Speaker A

But I got to hurry back because I got all this stuff to do.

Speaker A

And so it turned out we took the cat to the vet.

Speaker A

It was not a good prognosis.

Speaker A

We were there about an hour, an hour and a half, 20 or 30 minutes and the doctor came in, very kind and you know, knew the history because they were the clinic where the cat had been and said, you know, not, not gonna make it.

Speaker A

So we had to make the difficult decision to put her down.

Speaker A

Then Joy realized that our, our youngster 10 year old Ukrainian daughter who lives with us, with her mother and has for three plus years would probably want to say goodbye.

Speaker A

So we went home, got her, brought her back, had a goodbye ceremony and again the doctor was just amazingly kind and we put the cat to sleep and then we drove all the way out to a place that we've used for pet cremation and this is our fourth animal.

Speaker A

And you know, and that took a long time.

Speaker A

And then we came back and did some things and I had a doctor appointment in the afternoon already scheduled from a while ago because I've got some crazy stuff going on in my balance, my head that they don't know what is, etc.

Speaker A

Etc.

Speaker A

Bottom line is the whole day between the outcome of what I did at the doctor that I had to go do, then I had to go immediately and take a blood test.

Speaker A

And because there was some very concerning things, I had to go get some immediate medic medication because he saw a symptom or two that for him was 91 1.

Speaker A

So it was like right now, either go to emerge or go get this med and do it and do a blood test and we'll do this stuff afterwards.

Speaker A

So the whole day, start to finish, five in the morning, tonight gone, done, not a thing.

Speaker A

And I loved every minute of it.

Speaker A

I lived and loved in it.

Speaker A

Now my point about being focused and clear is I didn't outsource my joy.

Speaker A

My joy is in me.

Speaker A

My joy is also my wife.

Speaker A

But my joy, my ability to have love.

Speaker A

Love creates server.

Speaker A

My three words, that that's on me.

Speaker A

And so I chose to love it all.

Speaker A

And we had a very tender bunch of time, you know, taken the cat out, rubisco out to this, you know, pet mortuary place and all the things that were associated with that preparation.

Speaker A

It was glorious.

Speaker A

It was beautiful, and it was a blessing.

Speaker A

And, yep, trashed everything I was going to do.

Speaker A

And now I got that stuff stacked up starting today.

Speaker A

Okay.

Speaker A

I love it.

Speaker A

I love it, I love it.

Speaker A

So my question, when I say to you, what's this year about?

Speaker A

How's your day gonna start or go?

Speaker A

That's on you.

Speaker A

You can get mad at me for saying it, but it is.

Speaker A

And there is a gift in every event.

Speaker A

I got an email from a friend of mine this morning that said about that, about finding the gift in every situation.

Speaker A

And the language was different, but I love that.

Speaker A

And I went back over some thinking in my mind about everything that's happened to me and since 2017 to now, in the last eight years, oh, two or three lifetimes worth of emergency stuff, gallbladder surgery, emergency spinal surgery, dying in 2018, being paralyzed a few months later in 2018.

Speaker A

I mean, the list is on and on and on.

Speaker A

And I just thought about it, and I thought about the massive and awesome gift in each situation.

Speaker A

So it wasn't about will there be a gift?

Speaker A

Or talking about the idea of a gift.

Speaker A

But I went found them again for the umpteenth time.

Speaker A

So I said this in the beginning because I want to get rid of this idea that it depends on anything but you.

Speaker A

So now let's go back to the initial question.

Speaker A

What is this year about for you or the rest of this year?

Speaker A

What are you going to give yourself by Christmas or by New Year's that you don't have right this minute?

Speaker A

It might be emotional, might be financial, might be a bunch of cash.

Speaker A

It might be spiritual, might be in relationships.

Speaker A

It might be physically.

Speaker A

All of those things are absolutely legitimate goals, and you might be doing two or three of them at the same time.

Speaker A

I find trying to work on 20 goals is too hard, but three or four big ones, you can do that.

Speaker A

Especially if you're looking at 90 days or a year or something like that.

Speaker A

So here's the question for you.

Speaker A

What is this year about?

Speaker A

What gift will you give yourself?

Speaker A

That's an honest and fair question.

Speaker A

And if you're going to get the value out of this time together, I want you to do it.

Speaker A

Think about and write it on paper.

Speaker A

If the rest of your year had a theme, what would it be?

Speaker A

What would that be like?

Speaker A

Don't wait for New Year's resolutions or for Labor Day in the school year to start, or summer Vacay to be over.

Speaker A

Don't do that.

Speaker A

Why would you just trash all the days between now and then?

Speaker A

Like.

Speaker A

Like, you're obviously free to do that, but most of the people that listen to this show and that I talk to that are guests here on LA Talk Radio, they're about adding good to the world.

Speaker A

They're about doing something.

Speaker A

I'm continually blown away by the number of people that I meet, you included, that have something in their heart they want to give to the world.

Speaker A

Well, are you doing it?

Speaker A

Are you doing it full on?

Speaker A

Are you dribbling it out in drips and drabs?

Speaker A

Really and truly?

Speaker A

Because that's on you.

Speaker A

Now.

Speaker A

Here's the thing I love about being a coach, an alchemist.

Speaker A

The alchemist of peace, prosperity, cash, magic, soul, contentment and fulfillment.

Speaker A

Alchemy.

Speaker A

Part magic and part science.

Speaker A

Like, if you're not living that life of total joy, let's fix it.

Speaker A

You're invited to get a hold of me.

Speaker A

There's a website right there, kellenfluker media.com.

Speaker A

there's a contact form on that website.

Speaker A

That website's about.

Speaker A

Shows you all my books and all that stuff.

Speaker A

But there's a contact form there.

Speaker A

Get a hold of me.

Speaker A

Let's talk.

Speaker A

Because you deserve to live in joy.

Speaker A

Now, the truth is, you got to create it.

Speaker A

So let's go back to the next piece, which is the rest of the year is a blob.

Speaker A

You know, depending on when you hear this, it might be four months, four and a half months, five months, depends on when you hear it.

Speaker A

But it's a blob.

Speaker A

And you think, okay, I got a lot of days left.

Speaker A

Not, not 180, but maybe 150.

Speaker A

Okay, I got 150 days left.

Speaker A

Okay, that's a blob.

Speaker A

I don't have to do that today because I got 149 more days.

Speaker A

No, you have one day at a time.

Speaker A

You have today.

Speaker A

That's what you have.

Speaker A

Period, period, period, period.

Speaker A

Now, you can disagree with that.

Speaker A

You can fight about it or you can, but that's all you have.

Speaker A

And if today ends up being hijacked because you got sick and had to go to the ER, or because somebody wrecked a car or because something else happened, the reflect or whatever, that's okay.

Speaker A

Lean into it and love it.

Speaker A

But here's the thing.

Speaker A

My question is, in order to do, to lean in and love it when something derails what you planned in the context of your long goal.

Speaker A

So let's say you set a new year's goal.

Speaker A

And you say, I'm going to do this.

Speaker A

And you line out what you're going to do every week.

Speaker A

And then, you know, back down to the days and you prepare and you hit it and then it blows up.

Speaker A

Here's the secret.

Speaker A

Here's a magic key.

Speaker A

This is worth a billion dollars.

Speaker A

Hold your breath.

Speaker A

Get your pen.

Speaker A

Write it down.

Speaker A

You can have absolute, total control over how each day goes.

Speaker A

Say that again.

Speaker A

You can have absolute, total control over how each day goes for you.

Speaker A

That thing happened yesterday, hijacked today.

Speaker A

And I had the most beautiful experience I could imagine because I choose to be that way.

Speaker A

But it depends on how you prepare yourself.

Speaker A

If you prepare yourself that you're dependent on other things going right, you're finished.

Speaker A

You can't do this because nothing out there is going to go.

Speaker A

Like you say, some things will, some things won't.

Speaker A

But we don't control the weather or other people's attitudes or feelings or whether they whip out a credit card and buy whatever you're selling.

Speaker A

We don't control that, do we?

Speaker A

Now, here's what I want you to think about.

Speaker A

How do you prepare yourself?

Speaker A

You're a divine being.

Speaker A

You're a holy spirit.

Speaker A

You're divinity.

Speaker A

You're one generation from God.

Speaker A

So how do you, you precious, awesome person that I dearly love, how do you prepare yourself to hit your day or your week, snooze, slop out of bed, grab the phone, distraction, relive an old argument like that is really crappy preparation.

Speaker A

If you want success, it's great preparation if you just want to go with the flow and cruise.

Speaker A

Okay, so I'm going to share something I've shared before.

Speaker A

Here are some practices that I use, okay?

Speaker A

And I.

Speaker A

Please read this.

Speaker A

Living with Purpose and power.

Speaker A

This is about how to create anything you want, literally, day by day, minute by minute, the rest of the year.

Speaker A

This is.

Speaker A

This is it.

Speaker A

So get that.

Speaker A

Living with purpose and power.

Speaker A

And if you do, I'd love to.

Speaker A

To hear what you think about it.

Speaker A

Don't tell me what you think until you finish it.

Speaker A

Read it, try it, and tell me what's happened in your life.

Speaker A

So I use an acronym, SPEM S P M. Spiritual, Physical, emotional, Mental.

Speaker A

And I go through some activities at the start of each day in each of those areas, some spiritual practices.

Speaker A

The purpose of that is to get myself reminded that without the spiritual power behind all of us, we're nothing.

Speaker A

We're skin bags.

Speaker A

Right?

Speaker A

We can't.

Speaker A

We can't do much.

Speaker A

We don't control Much.

Speaker A

And to the extent we're arrogant and proud and think we got it all handled, I got news for you, you're full of crap.

Speaker A

You might for five minutes, but it'll all fall apart.

Speaker A

So ass is spiritual now.

Speaker A

I'm not going to tell you what your spiritual practices are.

Speaker A

I meditate, I pray, I read sacred literature and I use my document, ptac, Personal Truth and Commitment, which is a fire breathing dragon of motivation and power.

Speaker A

If you don't have a fire breathing dragon of motivation and power, why not?

Speaker A

All right, physical is what it says.

Speaker A

Do little exercise stretches.

Speaker A

Do something to honor your body.

Speaker A

You know, I do finger stuff in the morning because I'm piano and I do some martial arts stretches to the extent that I can with my back disc deterioration, which is one of those externalities, but I still do what I can to get my body going.

Speaker A

E is emotional.

Speaker A

I send messages and tokens of love, connect relationships, because emotional to me includes all those relationships, things.

Speaker A

So I do that on purpose.

Speaker A

And M is mental.

Speaker A

So I read some in a book or in, you know, certain people that I follow to see what they're talking about.

Speaker A

And it's never about trivial stuff.

Speaker A

Once in a while it is and that's okay, but it's, you know, inspirational.

Speaker A

Who's.

Speaker A

Who's thinking a thing that will inspire me and I go look for inspiration and I always find it 100% of the time, never, ever, ever not.

Speaker A

So it's not about control and it's not about rigidity and it's not about lack of spontaneity.

Speaker A

It's not about any of that.

Speaker A

It's about choice and preparing yourself for to be all you can be.

Speaker A

Sometimes people say, well, that's too rigid and I can't do it and I get too much going on.

Speaker A

Okay, you're free to do that.

Speaker A

But as a possibility, I'm suggesting to you that if you take more control and do what you know, prepares you, makes you feel prepared and good, you'll meet challenges and setbacks with more grace and creativity.

Speaker A

And on the days and times and hours when the wind's at your back, you'll blow your own mind with your productivity and the love and intensity and intention that is infused in everything that you do and say.

Speaker A

I want you to hold that.

Speaker A

Now the next thing I want to talk about is, okay, how do you handle setbacks and sudden changes?

Speaker A

Now, I talked a little bit about that with my example with the cat Rubisco and yesterday being all about, you know, her, her passing and us Having to then, you know, set up cremation and choose urns and, you know, all of those things.

Speaker A

And involving our little Ukrainian girl in that, because she loved Rubisco.

Speaker A

And for me, it was also about my wife.

Speaker A

My wife loved that cat.

Speaker A

And there's a very special story between us, Joy and I, about the cat.

Speaker A

And so there was a lot of reflection on that and a lot of, you know, tears and work.

Speaker A

And so the whole day became about that.

Speaker A

So that's interruption, and it was beautiful.

Speaker A

So the question is, those things are going to happen.

Speaker A

Okay?

Speaker A

And my first convo with Joy this morning was to just hug her and ask her how she's doing, how her heart feels, and, you know, what's going on for her to love her and do that, because that's who I am.

Speaker A

That's how we've created our relationship.

Speaker A

So my question here is, let's assume you do part one, which is your awesome, awesome, awesome morning creation.

Speaker A

Let's assume you do that.

Speaker A

Okay.

Speaker A

That morning prep is all about how to get your goals clear, your New Year's gifts organized.

Speaker A

Instead of lamenting last year's New Year's resolutions, it's about choosing.

Speaker A

I'm going to give myself inner peace.

Speaker A

I'm going to give myself a bunch of cash for Christmas.

Speaker A

Okay.

Speaker A

I'll tell you what this year's about for me till October 14.

Speaker A

It's about my 300 million people and the number of things that are happening.

Speaker A

Blow my mind.

Speaker A

I got an email from somebody talking about syndicating my podcast, making an offer to do that, and that might mean some money.

Speaker A

Good.

Speaker A

It'll certainly mean sponsorship and those kinds of things.

Speaker A

And I don't really care about the money.

Speaker A

I care about the 300 million.

Speaker A

But that came out of this focus that I have that I'm sharing with you, how to do.

Speaker A

That's where it came from.

Speaker A

I was.

Speaker A

Had a live stream the other day that went to a million people.

Speaker A

Holy moly.

Speaker A

So that's the size of things.

Speaker A

And those have been created because I'm doing this prep every day.

Speaker A

It's not magic.

Speaker A

It's not luck.

Speaker A

It's creation.

Speaker A

All right, so let's talk about you and your handling of setbacks.

Speaker A

When something happens that throws you off your game, what do you do?

Speaker A

Be honest.

Speaker A

What do you do?

Speaker A

If it's tiny, you just blow it off.

Speaker A

If it's big.

Speaker A

Like, I know people that get thrown off their game because somebody's rude on the road, somebody cuts you off or doesn't let you in or Whatever it is, and you know your boils up and you want to flip them off and stupid.

Speaker A

That's where you start, right there.

Speaker A

Love them.

Speaker A

I don't know what's going on for that person, but I love them.

Speaker A

That's a game.

Speaker A

Try it.

Speaker A

I can't do that.

Speaker A

Yes, you can.

Speaker A

You can learn anything you want.

Speaker A

You learn to be like you are.

Speaker A

You weren't born that way, right?

Speaker A

Babies aren't flipping each other off.

Speaker A

So choose some things today, if you don't drive anywhere, you know, emails come that aren't what you wanted.

Speaker A

Taxing IRS or candidate CRA sent you a note and it's like, I got to do something late on my tax return.

Speaker A

Whatever it is, Grace and love.

Speaker A

Grace and love.

Speaker A

It's not pretending and it's not a game.

Speaker A

Everything that you have to do and I have to do is just that.

Speaker A

It's a thing I have to do.

Speaker A

It doesn't mean your mission's wrong.

Speaker A

It doesn't mean your goals need to be changed.

Speaker A

It's not an indictment of your personality.

Speaker A

It's not an indictment of your goals or your Persona.

Speaker A

It's just a thing you gotta do.

Speaker A

And if it moves everything forward a day or two or a week.

Speaker A

So back on track.

Speaker A

Back on track in June of 2018.

Speaker A

Now, eight years ago, seven years ago, you know, I got sick and I was in the hospital for a month and died and 17 days in a coma.

Speaker A

And you know, that and rehab afterwards was a lot of work, so that didn't throw off a day.

Speaker A

That threw off two months, right?

Speaker A

And I found the gift.

Speaker A

I leaned into it and I loved it.

Speaker A

Now, if all this stuff sounds like mumbo jumbo to you and you're like, I wish I could do that, but I can't, let me help you, because I can teach you to do that and you can learn it fast.

Speaker A

90 days from now, you know, what are we?

Speaker A

August, September, October.

Speaker A

By the 1st of November, by Halloween, you can have a handle on your emotional mastery.

Speaker A

You can have a handle on that.

Speaker A

Where you look for the gift in everything.

Speaker A

You don't blame other people.

Speaker A

You no longer have that anger rising up in you or that frustration or that resignation or that depression that says, I'll never make it.

Speaker A

I'm not good enough.

Speaker A

You know how I know this is true?

Speaker A

Because all that was true for me.

Speaker A

I lived my first.

Speaker A

I left home at 17, my divine intervention.

Speaker A

Change happened in 2007.

Speaker A

So I lived that 35 years back, buried in depression, self sabotage.

Speaker A

And if you, you know, if you want the story, it's in the book Tightrope of Depression.

Speaker A

My I'm the author and that subtitles my journey from darkness, despair and death to light, love, and life.

Speaker A

So I lived in that where everything was derailed and I was never going to be good enough.

Speaker A

And I destroyed different careers.

Speaker A

And.

Speaker A

And so I.

Speaker A

When I say to you this is possible, I know it because I've walked that road one brick at a time, one rock at a time, one steep grade at a time, one setback at a time.

Speaker A

And so I am the ultimate catalyst, or alchemist.

Speaker A

Sorry, I use both those words, sometimes interchangeably.

Speaker A

But an alchemist using magic and science to give you back control of your flipping life.

Speaker A

Like, why give it away?

Speaker A

All right, so setbacks, however small they are, are exactly that opportunity.

Speaker A

And they happen every day.

Speaker A

So we get lots of practice, right?

Speaker A

We get lots of opportunity to practice what we're going to do with setbacks.

Speaker A

Little ones and big ones.

Speaker A

If you have prepared yourself like we talk about in the morning, because that's the key, then dealing with setbacks is not difficult.

Speaker A

Here's what we ask.

Speaker A

What is the gift here?

Speaker A

Now, when I knew that cat thing was going to take the day, which I suspected it was, the minute she said anything, I could have said, ah.

Speaker A

Instead, I've trained and chosen to be great.

Speaker A

How can we turn this into beauty?

Speaker A

That's what I ask.

Speaker A

And I meant that.

Speaker A

And everything disappeared.

Speaker A

How can we turn this into beauty?

Speaker A

So I want you to think about that.

Speaker A

Developing those kind of habits is the beginning, right?

Speaker A

The emotion, sadness, tears.

Speaker A

Oh, no, Unexpected, you know, she was 15 or 14 and a half.

Speaker A

Almost 15.

Speaker A

Be 15 in September, so right quick.

Speaker A

And, you know, cats live, what, 12 to 20, occasionally to 21 or two.

Speaker A

So it was a little early, you know, we expected to have a few more years, but she also had ckd, chronic kidney.

Speaker A

Kidney disease.

Speaker A

And that was the reason she ultimately couldn't do it.

Speaker A

Her kidneys failed.

Speaker A

So the.

Speaker A

The question is, what is the beauty here?

Speaker A

Not.

Speaker A

I can't wait till this is over.

Speaker A

That is a learned behavior.

Speaker A

If you want to know how to learn it quickly, get a hold of me.

Speaker A

Contact Form Ellen Fluker Media Read the book Living with Purpose and power.

Speaker A

All the 20 books that I've written, every one is about only one thing.

Speaker A

Helping you with what I've learned, because I've walked every one of these roads.

Speaker A

I don't write books about stuff I don't understand, don't know, haven't bled over.

Speaker A

And then I write Them, because I know the things I've learned could be of service.

Speaker A

So that's the first thing is your daily prep.

Speaker A

The second thing is the first question you ask.

Speaker A

No matter what hits you, your mom dies, your brother gets cancer.

Speaker A

You know, my mom dying is fresh.

Speaker A

For me, that happened in April, just a few months ago.

Speaker A

Got an email from my sister.

Speaker A

She said, mama graduated.

Speaker A

We called her Mama, not Mom.

Speaker A

Mama graduated.

Speaker A

I knew what she meant.

Speaker A

And I sat there in the stillness for a moment and waited to connect with it.

Speaker A

I asked the very same question, spoke to the divine.

Speaker A

This is a blessing.

Speaker A

She's now reunited with my dad.

Speaker A

This is beautiful.

Speaker A

How can this be good?

Speaker A

What can I turn?

Speaker A

How can I turn this into joy?

Speaker A

And in about an hour, I actually felt her spirit.

Speaker A

And that's significant because if you've read Tightrope, you know some of the details of why that might not be what you'd expect to have happen.

Speaker A

But it did, and it was beautiful.

Speaker A

So that was a choice with the cat or with her?

Speaker A

I mean, that could have derailed the day, too.

Speaker A

And the only thing I did is find out when the funeral was over the next couple days and make plans to go.

Speaker A

But plans to go is three or four days out of the schedule.

Speaker A

I loved it.

Speaker A

It was beautiful because I choose it.

Speaker A

Setbacks do not derail your mission.

Speaker A

Hear this.

Speaker A

Setbacks don't derail.

Speaker A

They don't even delay your mission.

Speaker A

Even though the funeral took three or four days to the travel, everything else and the cat took a day, and I imagine in the next few days, it'll take another day.

Speaker A

It doesn't derail your relationship or it doesn't derail your mission.

Speaker A

It doesn't even delay.

Speaker A

Changes your relationship to.

Speaker A

Allows you to recognize that externalities are blessings.

Speaker A

Now, in the case of a pet or a person in your family, passing and a spiritual connection, you can see with the sadness, which I'm not pretending to deny, you might weep, you might have sadness, you might have an hour of breakdown.

Speaker A

Depends on what the thing is.

Speaker A

But your choice to show up as a divine being then empowers you to come back from that and create beauty out of ashes, to build a masterpiece out of a mess.

Speaker A

Because it's not really a mess, it's just a thing.

Speaker A

So what is this year about for you?

Speaker A

This really is several pieces.

Speaker A

One, to think about what you want for New Year's.

Speaker A

And then the real question is, what?

Speaker A

Who do you have to be to take the action day to day, week to week, month to month, to give you, your gift.

Speaker A

And who do you have to be to deal with the inevitable setbacks, large or small?

Speaker A

Because they're going to come and they're going to come hard, and they're going to come fast sometimes or slow and easy.

Speaker A

So when you have a setback, remember, it doesn't derail your mission.

Speaker A

It.

Speaker A

It reveals your relationship to it.

Speaker A

Because if these things happen and that makes you doubt your mission or your purpose or your goals or your ability, that's the sign to do some work there.

Speaker A

When you have a real commitment to your, in this case, New Year's gifts or Christmas gifts, when you have a real relationship with that, what those setbacks do is reaffirm, recommit.

Speaker A

What this thing yesterday did is gave me a beautiful story to tell.

Speaker A

That's true and powerful for myself.

Speaker A

I shared it with you.

Speaker A

But for me to look at what actually happened and realize what that reveals.

Speaker A

So it.

Speaker A

These setbacks will.

Speaker A

Will reveal for you your relationship to your goals.

Speaker A

If it derails you, you're not committed.

Speaker A

If it makes you think I'll never get there, you're not committed.

Speaker A

If it makes you wonder, what why is this happening to me?

Speaker A

You're not committed.

Speaker A

Now, that might sound harsh, but the answer isn't to get mad at me.

Speaker A

It's to get committed.

Speaker A

Get committed.

Speaker A

You know what committed is?

Speaker A

I will crawl over every piece of broken glass that I have to to get to that goal.

Speaker A

Now, you're free at any time to say, you know what?

Speaker A

That's not a goal I want anymore.

Speaker A

You're free to have the learnings of life teach you that you are going in the wrong direction, or it needs just a course correction or a radical pivot.

Speaker A

The lessons of life will do that.

Speaker A

But it's not because I've been beat down.

Speaker A

I give up.

Speaker A

It is with careful consideration with you as a divine being in your heart, considering who you want to be in the world and how you want that to show up.

Speaker A

Like, I've had all kinds of setbacks over the years with this podcast.

Speaker A

Oh, I don't want to do this anymore.

Speaker A

Oh, it's too hard.

Speaker A

Too much work on and on and on.

Speaker A

And by reviewing what I wanted, I want to add good to the world.

Speaker A

I want to help people realize they can create their lives like I have.

Speaker A

And I want to give them the tools to do it.

Speaker A

That commitment every time would over, override, outweigh the setback.

Speaker A

And it will for you, too, but only if you have your real vision.

Speaker A

So here's the real question.

Speaker A

This when this crap happens and it's going to, will you crumble?

Speaker A

Are you going to curse the sky?

Speaker A

Right?

Speaker A

I don't know.

Speaker A

And what you've done before now, let's say you've had a habit of being angry at bad drivers or at the Revenue Service Canada Revenue or the IRS or whatever, or your partner or an illness or a business partner or the fact that your sales strategy isn't working or your relationship isn't good.

Speaker A

You can rail and blame and maybe that's been your habit.

Speaker A

Cursing the sky, cursing God and wishing to die.

Speaker A

It says in the Bible somewhere.

Speaker A

If that's been your habit, I don't care.

Speaker A

You can change it today if you want help.

Speaker A

Get a hold of me.

Speaker A

Read the books or get a hold of me, but change it because it's so much more fun and empowering.

Speaker A

Yeah, there's people that love to live in their complaints and love to argue for their limitations and love to live as victims, but they're not very happy.

Speaker A

I've never met a person, I have never met a person who lives in that victim blaming place who is actually happy.

Speaker A

You know, you're around him and you just feel joy.

Speaker A

No complain, hard done by, beat down.

Speaker A

I could have been a contender, you know, I could have done this if this, that and the other garbage or it can be garbage starting today.

Speaker A

So the question is, when it happens, you crumble or do you recommit with your heart, with your soul, maybe with tears running down your face?

Speaker A

I will do this thing.

Speaker A

I don't know.

Speaker A

Your call.

Speaker A

All right, so let's wrap up here.

Speaker A

I want to say out loud, what is the rest of your year about?

Speaker A

I've told you what mine is.

Speaker A

Mine's getting to 300 million by October 14th.

Speaker A

And in January I'm launching the ultimate life coaching university.

Speaker A

It's a complete recasting of the business and of the profession of coaching from the highest possible place, from the most authentic, powerful place.

Speaker A

Because AI is going to put 95% of coaches out of business by Christmas of 26.

Speaker A

That's what I think.

Speaker A

Or sooner and only those who really have the kind of commitment I'm talking about, commitment, vision, leadership, will be able to do stuff that AI can't do.

Speaker A

Presence and divine pattern and power and really communicate and transmit things that a frequency AI can't touch.

Speaker A

But anyway, so that's my January goal.

Speaker A

So now you know my October and January.

Speaker A

I've got three months and three months, not quite, but something like that.

Speaker A

And I'm committed to those and I don't care how many things break.

Speaker A

I don't care how many things get in the way.

Speaker A

I am committed to that.

Speaker A

So this is not about my commitment.

Speaker A

Those are just examples.

Speaker A

And I'm just sharing what is yours.

Speaker A

What is your commitment?

Speaker A

By New Year's, you want my help?

Speaker A

Want me to help you get it?

Speaker A

If you're tired of struggling, if you're tired of not having the cash you want.

Speaker A

Money is so easy.

Speaker A

Easy to create.

Speaker A

Cash is laying around to pick up.

Speaker A

I know you hear that kind of crap all the time and you're like, yeah, scam.

Speaker A

No, it actually is.

Speaker A

Money follows value.

Speaker A

The question is, how do you create value so that people pour money on you?

Speaker A

It's not that complicated.

Speaker A

You have infinite worth and you have infinite value.

Speaker A

But if you're not rolling in dough, you're not using it, that can change.

Speaker A

So what is your year about?

Speaker A

What is the rest of this year about for you?

Speaker A

I've shared mine.

Speaker A

Write it down, say it out loud, say it in the mirror.

Speaker A

Make a promise to the future.

Speaker A

You have a convo.

Speaker A

Sit down and have a convo with the future.

Speaker A

You right there.

Speaker A

Have a cup of tea, you know, if you're in England or a drink, a soda, whatever.

Speaker A

I don't drink anymore.

Speaker A

You know that.

Speaker A

So.

Speaker A

So sit down and have a sandwich, tea and crumpets.

Speaker A

I don't care with that person.

Speaker A

And, and talk about you as having achieved that thing.

Speaker A

Have a convo with him.

Speaker A

Maybe.

Speaker A

If you're a coach and you're hearing me say 95% of coaches are going to be out of business in 16, 17, 18 months, maybe the idea of your ultimate life coaching university appeals to you and you're saying, who do I actually have to be?

Speaker A

What are the step by step processes to get me in the top 5%?

Speaker A

Because 95% are going to be out of work and looking for something else to do.

Speaker A

Really?

Speaker A

Not maybe.

Speaker A

And only the 5% who have particular skills and ability that come from the kind of work I'm talking about are going to be left with clients and they're going to be in high demand and well paid because you are able to do things no other coach can.

Speaker A

Now, whether you're a coach or not, the same process applies.

Speaker A

You need to create.

Speaker A

You don't need to do anything.

Speaker A

But if you want those goals, you have to create the person.

Speaker A

Answer the question.

Speaker A

Who do I have to be to have a better relationship, to have more money, to be more loving, to not be ashamed when I look in the mirror, to forgive myself of all this crap I'm carrying around about stuff other people did or I did.

Speaker A

Like that is the question.

Speaker A

Who do you have to be?

Speaker A

And if you're not that today, then the time to change is to start right this second.

Speaker A

This is your invitation.

Speaker A

Create the rest of this year for yourself.
