You are the cause of the misery in your own life.
Speaker AYou may not like that and you may want to yell at me or scream how come I'm stupid, but it's still true.
Speaker AWelcome to the show.
Speaker ATired of the hype about living a dream.
Speaker AIt's time for truth.
Speaker AThis is the place for tools, power and real talk.
Speaker ASo you can create the life you dream and deserve.
Speaker AYour ultimate life.
Speaker ASubscribe, share, create.
Speaker AYou have infinite power.
Speaker AWelcome to your ultimate life.
Speaker AThe greatest cash producing, impact creating, legacy, building asset you have or will ever have is not your program, it's not your resume, it's not even your expertise.
Speaker AYou know what it is?
Speaker AIt is your story.
Speaker AThe story of your becoming.
Speaker ALet me tell you why.
Speaker AFirst of all, you have achieved something.
Speaker AI'm not talking about your degrees or your position or your CEO status or the company you built.
Speaker AI'm talking about the personal thing that you are.
Speaker AWhat matters most of all is who you are in the world.
Speaker ALike how do you show up?
Speaker AYou show up like a jerk.
Speaker ADo you show up happy, joyful?
Speaker ADoes that depend on what's going on around you?
Speaker AWhether you made that big sale?
Speaker AOr does it depend on just what you say, who you decide you are?
Speaker AHere's my experience.
Speaker AI'll be 70 in December, so I've lived 70 years.
Speaker AYour most important asset is the energy you bring to each day.
Speaker AIt's not your money, it's not your success, it's not even your brilliant wisdom and insight.
Speaker ASo let's talk about how to mean something with that.
Speaker ABecause you can hear that and you've heard it said before.
Speaker AAnd let me tell you exactly how and why my own story.
Speaker AOkay, we'll just do a microchip.
Speaker AYou've heard some of it before, probably or not.
Speaker AI had a successful executive career, big shot, that kind of stuff that went till I was 52.
Speaker AI left that unhappy, unsatisfied addictions, all the failings that are legend in that sort of space.
Speaker AAnd since then, for the last 18 years, I've changed into being a person of love, energy, focus lifting, building, creating.
Speaker AWhy?
Speaker ABecause it draws me that that transformation from broken, depressed, suicidal, addicted to a person of energy, love and creativity.
Speaker AThat story has helped thousands, tens of thousands, millions of people.
Speaker AWay more than I ever impacted in all those other things.
Speaker AAnd it leaves me more joyful.
Speaker AThe other kind of career left me wealthy, quote, important.
Speaker AThis leaves me meaning, satisfied and joyful.
Speaker AEvery day.
Speaker AI live that all ultimate life purpose, prosperity and joy.
Speaker AI live there every day, no exceptions.
Speaker AI'm not Magic.
Speaker AI'm not special.
Speaker AYou can have that.
Speaker AThe key is your own story of becoming.
Speaker AThe choices, the resilience, the failures, the beatdowns, the standups, the moving forward, the recommitment, the declaration, the bold and clear declaration of who you are in the world.
Speaker AThat's what matters.
Speaker AThat's all that matters.
Speaker AEverything else is going to be destined to the dustbin.
Speaker ASo let's talk about how to make that work.
Speaker AOkay, here's what you're going to get in this episode.
Speaker AThe why and the how and the what to do next.
Speaker AWhy your story matters, how to do something with it, and what to do next to turn your life development story into impact.
Speaker ANow, I made that bold statement about that being the most powerful thing you have.
Speaker AAnd it's not true for some of you.
Speaker AAnd I'll tell you who it's not true for.
Speaker AIf you're stuck in mediocrity, where you don't give a crap and you're just working for the weekend and for whatever, you can party, it's not for you.
Speaker AIt is for you.
Speaker AIf you have overcome challenges and you're still standing tall, it is for you.
Speaker AIt's not for you.
Speaker AIf you don't give a crap about helping other people, it is for you.
Speaker AIf you've gone through your own hardships and noticed, like I did, that this yearning comes up to lift and love and bless and serve.
Speaker ABecause it does.
Speaker ASo if you're sitting here thinking, I've been through all this stuff, whatever it is, from betrayal to addiction to death to illness to bankruptcies to failed relationships to personal demons to mental illness to physical illness, all that stuff, and you came out the other side and said, I will not let this defeat me.
Speaker AI will stand, I will be, I will create, I will love, I will serve.
Speaker AIf that's you, then you are in the right place.
Speaker APlace.
Speaker AAnd that's why this thing is so powerful.
Speaker ASo let's talk about the greatest gift you have.
Speaker AThis is why here is the core promise.
Speaker AThe core promise is if you're willing to do the work to mine your developmental journey, you can impact millions and make a lot of money and be really happy.
Speaker APurpose, prosperity and joy.
Speaker AYou can have that.
Speaker AIt's not going to come in an Amazon box, but you can have it.
Speaker AYour story is the bridge between your credibility and someone else's hope.
Speaker AHear that?
Speaker AYour credibility is established by the truth of the choices you've made.
Speaker AEven if you're not, you know, perfect.
Speaker ALots of setbacks, ups and downs.
Speaker AEverybody's is so what?
Speaker AAnd if you argue with me, all that does is delay the truth of the inevitability of your possibility.
Speaker ANow, you can go all the way through till you're dead and not use it.
Speaker AYou're free to do that.
Speaker ABut why would you do that?
Speaker AYou're sitting here with the yearning to love and serve and bless and lift, whether it's your family or your community or millions.
Speaker AMy goal is 300 million.
Speaker AI will reach 300 million people by 14th October this year with podcasts, with appearances, with shows, with books, with teaching, with training, and the reaching means of whipos.
Speaker AWorth, identity, possibility, ownership, sovereignty.
Speaker ATalking to you.
Speaker AUnless you don't care, and then I'm not talking to you.
Speaker ABut why would you waste your divine gifts?
Speaker AWhy would you waste the experiences of your life that have refined you instead of ruined you?
Speaker AOr even if they ruined you first, they have refined you.
Speaker ANow, here is the place to go.
Speaker ARight here.
Speaker ADream build, Write it dot com.
Speaker ADream Build, Write it.
Speaker ADream build, Write it dot com.
Speaker AGo there right now.
Speaker ASign up.
Speaker AIt's free.
Speaker AIt's a book challenge.
Speaker ABut it isn't just about writing books.
Speaker AIt is about mining your story.
Speaker AIt is about doing a process called the developmental story matrix, where you go through events in your life and figure out what they taught you, why they matter so much, and how to use them to serve, which includes cash in your pocket, your bank account, and joy on your face knowing you are adding good to the world.
Speaker AIf you decide to do that, this book is the curriculum, the story arc.
Speaker AGo get it.
Speaker AGo get it now.
Speaker AIt will help you do something you've been avoiding or postponing or thinking didn't matter for years.
Speaker AI have people in there right now that started in February.
Speaker AWe're just finishing their books, getting ready to publish nine new books.
Speaker AOoh, nine books that are gonna change the world.
Speaker AOne person said to me, I've been sitting on this for 10 years.
Speaker AFinally, it's gonna be in the world.
Speaker AWell, let that be you.
Speaker AAll right, so here's the point.
Speaker AYour story, as I said, is the bridge between your own credibility, meaning what you've done and who you are, and someone else's hope.
Speaker AI just got done talking to a woman I'd never met before.
Speaker ABeautiful woman, has fabulous business stuff, good business, doing all kinds of cool stuff.
Speaker AAnd you know what she said to me?
Speaker AWe got deep into other conversations.
Speaker AShe said, you know, we can go for some weeks without food, a little while without water, minutes even without air.
Speaker AWe can't go for one second without hope.
Speaker AI want you to think about that.
Speaker ALet that land.
Speaker AWe can't go for a second without hope.
Speaker ANow, whether you argue about that physiologically or not, I don't even care.
Speaker AIt's not the point.
Speaker AHope is a key ingredient of our continued vibrancy.
Speaker AEven if we stay breathing, without hope, we don't radiate anything.
Speaker AHope is the fuel for our energy.
Speaker AIt is the fuel for love.
Speaker AYou are a merchant of hope.
Speaker AIf you want to, you have power and possibility to give other people hope.
Speaker AWow, what a blessing.
Speaker AThink about what you and me, we can do.
Speaker AGiving hope.
Speaker AI have a client that says I'm a hope dealer.
Speaker APeople have called her that, sort of given her the name of hope dealer.
Speaker ASo here's some common things that I hear all the time, why people undervalue this story.
Speaker ASo this is the why.
Speaker AI'm not that special.
Speaker ANothing's really happened.
Speaker AI didn't survive a massively abusive childhood or some horrific starvation thing.
Speaker AI wasn't a prisoner.
Speaker ASo I got Jack.
Speaker AI got nothing.
Speaker AWell, I'm not saying you did have any of those things, but you, like everyone else, have faced challenges that for you, were hard, were heart wrenching, were difficult, were struggles.
Speaker AAnd you made a decision not to let them ruin you, but to let them refine you.
Speaker AI made a decision to let my challenges ruin me for decades.
Speaker ABy ruin I mean struggle in failed relationships, addictions, depression, self sabotage, meaning I wrecked careers and so forth.
Speaker ALike big stuff worth millions, tens of millions of dollars, did really stupid things in that self sabotage and then got out of it and have now changed.
Speaker AYour story may be different.
Speaker AHere's some of the things I know, I know and have helped people with their podcasts and their books and their coaching practices and their own businesses.
Speaker AThis lady that I just talked to this morning and she said something really interesting.
Speaker AHer business is helping businesses with operation, systems, leadership, stuff like that, and how to be more successful small startups all the way to eight figure businesses.
Speaker AAnd that's what she does.
Speaker ABut you know, what she said was the most important thing that she's discovered over and over again is that businesses who have a clear mission, vision, value statement, they do better every time they have a clear commitment.
Speaker ABesides, make cash, make cash, make cash.
Speaker APeople go to the bottom line and say cash is the only thing that matters.
Speaker AIt's not, it's not sustainable.
Speaker AIf that's your holy grail, okay, and you can get mad at me for saying that and I don't even care.
Speaker AIt's not sustainable.
Speaker AIt Will be temporary.
Speaker AIt doesn't get loyalty.
Speaker AIt doesn't provide joy.
Speaker AIt provides temporary stuff.
Speaker AAnd sure, cash is fun.
Speaker AWhen I had a situation where I was broken and making so much cash, I didn't know what to do with it.
Speaker AYeah, I had all the toys and I hated myself and, you know, drug abuse and all the rest of the.
Speaker AThere's a deeper and more powerful meaning.
Speaker AAnd you know it.
Speaker AYou feel it.
Speaker AThat big cash wall.
Speaker AThat's fun.
Speaker AAnd you see people driving around and bling and everywhere, and it's like.
Speaker AAnd the same people die of overdoses and suicide and broken relationship after broken relationship and misery and is this all there is?
Speaker AAnd that whole thing.
Speaker AAll right, so number one, people say I'm not special.
Speaker AWell, that's not true.
Speaker AYou are not special to everyone, and neither am I.
Speaker ABut you are special to some group of people who need to hear your voice.
Speaker AYour understanding, your particular situation will resonate with them.
Speaker AI don't reach everybody by any stretch.
Speaker AMy stories do not resonate with some people.
Speaker AThey do with others.
Speaker AYou are the same.
Speaker ASo when you say, my story doesn't matter or I'm not special or I have jack, what you're saying is, I won't touch everybody so nobody would listen.
Speaker AThat's not true.
Speaker AWhat that means is you're chicken.
Speaker AYou're afraid to mine the story and put it out there for those who need it.
Speaker ALet's say you did this work and you helped 100 people completely change their lives because they recognized and resonated with your story and your choices, your situation, your resilience.
Speaker AA hundred people.
Speaker ADo you know how important that is?
Speaker AA hundred lives changed.
Speaker AUnbelievable.
Speaker ASo your story is important and you are that special.
Speaker AThere's no question about your uniqueness.
Speaker ABut people then say, yeah, but so what?
Speaker AWell, so what is the key?
Speaker AIt is, so what?
Speaker ASo what?
Speaker AYou have a bunch of people you could help if you want to.
Speaker ANow, if you're one of those people that doesn't give a crap about being of service, then this isn't for you.
Speaker AAnother thing that comes up all the time is this question.
Speaker AWho am I to share this?
Speaker ASo I just one of my beautiful, blessed authors, I just got through leaving a voicemail earlier today.
Speaker AA long message.
Speaker AText or whatever.
Speaker ANot text.
Speaker AI use voice memos.
Speaker ARight.
Speaker AAnd the question that this person asked me was all about that question, who am I to share this?
Speaker AMaybe it's not this, maybe it's not that.
Speaker AAnd so my goal, my opportunity as a coach was to reassure them in spades.
Speaker APowerfully.
Speaker ANo equivocation.
Speaker AYou matter.
Speaker AIt matters what you've written.
Speaker AI love.
Speaker AAnd it did.
Speaker AI was editing the book and it moved me.
Speaker AI thought, wow, this is really cool.
Speaker ACool.
Speaker AHow do I remember this in my daily walk?
Speaker ASo it was coaching me.
Speaker AWhat a beautiful thing I get to do, editing all these books of people who have made the courageous leap to tell their stories.
Speaker AAnother third thing I hear is, yeah, nobody's gonna care who's gonna read it.
Speaker ANobody cares.
Speaker AWell, I can tell you sure, if you don't do it, nobody cares.
Speaker AI can tell you sure, if you don't do it, nobody's gonna read it.
Speaker ANobody's gonna come out and cheer you, because nobody can.
Speaker AHere's what I do.
Speaker ADream build.
Speaker AWhoops, wrong hand.
Speaker ADream build.
Speaker AWrite it.
Speaker ADream build.
Speaker AWrite it.
Speaker AI help you understand how your story matters, who it's for, for, and how to tell it in a compelling and powerful way so that you can have the difference and get paid and feel good about making an impact in the world.
Speaker AHere's a myth that I want to bust, okay?
Speaker APeople think that celebrity is everything.
Speaker APeople think that the, you know, the crap we see on social media and on TV and everything else, that's all there is.
Speaker AOoh, that's the pinnacle.
Speaker AThat's Jack people buy from, they follow and are transformed by those they relate to.
Speaker ANot those who are bragging, not those who are perfect.
Speaker AThink about who you look up to, who you draw inspiration from.
Speaker AReal inspiration, not envy, not, you know, negative emotion.
Speaker APeople that inspire you to move and act.
Speaker AIt's people you trust, people you see it and you relate to them.
Speaker AYou relate to their stories and situation.
Speaker ASo here is a.
Speaker AHere is a truth.
Speaker AI have a client who was opening a podcast, starting a podcast, and I accidentally was their first podcast guest.
Speaker ADidn't know it till later, but because of how we spoke, that client has gone on to make world changing impacts and receive great global awards.
Speaker AWhy?
Speaker ABecause they related to my story and I was able to love and encourage them.
Speaker AAnd they were starting from nowhere.
Speaker AThey owned and stepped into the truth of their story and are now in the process of changing the world.
Speaker AThat could be you.
Speaker ANow, here's an inflection point, a turning point for you.
Speaker AOnce you understand deeply that your story is the most valuable thing, most valuable asset you have, then you will understand why it matters so much.
Speaker AYou are holding a gold mine.
Speaker ANow, if it's gold, if it was bars of gold that got delivered by Amazon or special courier, if you buy gold from whoever's Advertising on tv.
Speaker AIt comes insured in a special box.
Speaker AAnd that gold enriches you.
Speaker AAnd you put it in the safe deposit box or in a safe or wherever.
Speaker AThe gold you're holding with your story not only enriches you, but it enriches others.
Speaker AIt enriches you because you know then your own value and worth.
Speaker AYou love yourself more.
Speaker AYou are more confident in serving and blessing others no matter what your business is.
Speaker AGo back to that lady I talked to this morning.
Speaker AShe isn't a, quote, life coach or any of that stuff.
Speaker AShe has worked with businesses.
Speaker ABut you know what she finds over and over again?
Speaker AIt's the stories in the head of the business owner that are keeping them stuck.
Speaker ANot a marketing hack.
Speaker ANot any of the stuff that you think about 100% of the time.
Speaker AIt's in your head.
Speaker AOnce you understand that that story, that life transition, the story of your becoming is the most powerful gift you have, then you realize it will enrich you and it will enrich others.
Speaker AAnd when I say rich, I'm talking money as well as joy.
Speaker AIt will make you money.
Speaker AWhen you offer those services, it will change the lives of people who read your stuff, and they will be more prosperous both in life and in business.
Speaker ALife isn't separate from business.
Speaker AAnybody that's tried to keep those separate burns down all the time.
Speaker AAll right?
Speaker AThe next thing, that's why it matters.
Speaker ASo here's how come it matters.
Speaker AHere's how it actually changes.
Speaker AWhen somebody looks at you and sees your successful, whatever degree of success you have, if you're making millions or if you're making tens of thousands, who cares?
Speaker AThey.
Speaker AAnd they're somewhere else.
Speaker AThey look at you and say, wow, they're successful.
Speaker AI wish I could have that.
Speaker AThe prominence, the money, the position, the confidence, whatever it is.
Speaker AThey look at you and they say that, don't they?
Speaker AThey look at you and they like, ah, I wish I could have be so and so.
Speaker AWell, immediately after that, the next thing that comes out of their mouth or out of their head, conversation is, yeah, but.
Speaker AYeah, but.
Speaker AYeah, but.
Speaker AYeah, but I can't because, yeah, but I have no support.
Speaker AYeah, but I don't have the opportunity.
Speaker AYeah, but I don't know how.
Speaker AYeah, but it's good for them, but not for me.
Speaker AAnd what that always reminds me of is old Elmer Fudd on Bugs Bunny.
Speaker AWabbit, wabbit, wabbit.
Speaker AEverything that you say that comes after comes after.
Speaker AYebit is garbage.
Speaker AOoh, yebit, yebit.
Speaker AYeah, but anything that comes after that is garbage.
Speaker ASo drop Yebit and say, how can I?
Speaker AWhat would it take for this?
Speaker AHow can I make this happen?
Speaker AOkay.
Speaker AAll right.
Speaker AHere's the emotional currency of your story.
Speaker AIt shows what's possible.
Speaker ABecause when people are saying, yeah, but they can't have the success or the prominence or the influence of the money that you do, what they're doing is they're making an assumption.
Speaker AThey're assuming you had a bunch of breaks or help that they can't have access to, or that you're somehow special and they can't cut it.
Speaker AThat's what they're assuming.
Speaker AWhen you tell the story of your becoming, the setbacks, the difficulties, the vulnerability, the failures, the doubts, the dark nights of the soul, when you share that, you make it available.
Speaker AYou show, I went through these different things and here's what I did.
Speaker AI got this kind of help.
Speaker AI did this kind of meditation work, or this kind of mindset work, or when did this kind of business work to create clients and cash or whatever it is you're showing the steps, you're giving the keys, you make it available.
Speaker AThat's emotional currency.
Speaker ABecause when they connect with that, then they think automatically, well, maybe I can.
Speaker AIt also helps people connect with the path that you're on.
Speaker AYou show you have walked the path, you have crawled over the broken glass, you have done the work, and you're showing exactly how that's powerful, that's valuable, because it makes something available they didn't have before.
Speaker AWhat they had before was a bunch of people saying, you can have anything you want.
Speaker AIt's possible.
Speaker AWell, that's garbage.
Speaker AWithout the how and without the how of the how, the direct and specific next steps.
Speaker AThere is the currency, there is the cash value.
Speaker AAnd when you share the truth of your own story, it builds credibility, connection, trust, you know, know, like.
Speaker AAnd trust, it builds that faster than anything in the world because people can connect with that.
Speaker AHere's what I know.
Speaker AA lot of people that I talk to are people who are coaching in one way or another.
Speaker AEven this lady I talked to this morning who helps businesses with operation systems and, you know, nuts and bolts.
Speaker AShe finds, as I said, that the biggest barriers are the head barriers.
Speaker AAnd so she coaches people past their stories, past their barriers, you know.
Speaker AAnd I talked to another guy this morning was recording a different episode of this.
Speaker AIt was in London, a coach in London.
Speaker AAnd he said, you know, he works with business owners and some high profile sports people because he came out of a sports background.
Speaker AHe said that 80%, 90% is mindset, belief that you can.
Speaker AAnd when you share the story of your own choice and your own growth, you make that accessible and available.
Speaker AAvailable.
Speaker AThe other thing that's so powerful about sharing the story, about how this taps so deeply, is we love stories throughout the history of the human race, our culture, our religion, our beliefs, you know, our loyalties, our patriotism, our connection to family, and everything is shared through story.
Speaker AThink about the movies you see, the books you read, even the songs you listen to.
Speaker AThere's a story arc.
Speaker AWe are drawn in by story.
Speaker AWe remember stories more than anything in the world.
Speaker AAnd so why wouldn't you use story, your story to make your impact in the world?
Speaker ANow, one of the things that people talk about is they don't think their story is interesting or compelling.
Speaker ASo they either want to make up crap or they dismiss it entirely.
Speaker AYour story is interesting, it's powerful.
Speaker AMaybe you don't know how to use it that way yet.
Speaker AGood.
Speaker ADream build.
Speaker AWrite it dot com, Go there.
Speaker AI'll help you.
Speaker AI'll help you learn your story and learn how to make it matter.
Speaker AOkay, here's the deal.
Speaker AIf you are in the helping business of any kind, coach, consultant, Advisor, you have 16 months.
Speaker ABy Christmas of 2026, 95% of those people will be out of business.
Speaker AYou will not be able to make a living.
Speaker AIf that scares the crap out of you, good.
Speaker AIt's not hard to understand why we have been inundated.
Speaker ANow we're being introduced and overwhelmed almost with the introduction of a sea change technology, AI.
Speaker AOkay, ChatGPT, Gemini, all the other stuff, it is overwhelming us with expertise and skill.
Speaker ASo all the coaches that rely on frameworks, methodologies, good questions, holding space, empathetic listening, all that stuff, you're done.
Speaker AAI writes better, faster, cheaper, more powerfully than you do ever will.
Speaker AIt's already lapping you.
Speaker AYou can argue with that.
Speaker AI don't care.
Speaker AI'm an author.
Speaker AI've written 20 something books.
Speaker AI've helped other, many others write books.
Speaker AHere's what I know.
Speaker AThere's going to be one thing left for us who want to stay in that 5% and be those kind of coaches.
Speaker AYour story, that's the thing.
Speaker AAI can't bleed.
Speaker AIt can't walk the emotional road you have.
Speaker AIt can say beautiful words, it can say empowering things, a beautiful turn of phrase, all that stuff.
Speaker AIt cannot create emotional safety.
Speaker AIt cannot be the encouraging source and candle, even if it says all the right words.
Speaker ASo you either get your butt up in that 5% of your toast okay, here's the next thing I want to talk about.
Speaker AHere's how to use this.
Speaker AOkay.
Speaker AHere's how to share without overdoing it.
Speaker AAnd oversharing.
Speaker ADon't make it all about you.
Speaker AYou're sharing your story.
Speaker AYes, but we draw it in the common expression.
Speaker ASo when I talk about my transition from drug addict and making too much money and all the things that were before to a person today where I make good money, but I'm happy, joyful, and I'm in a prosperous place emotionally and financially, the key is the extension of possibility.
Speaker AHere's what happened to me.
Speaker AHere's what I did, here's what you can do.
Speaker AHere's how this could work for you.
Speaker AWe have to make those connections.
Speaker ABecause if it's all about me, that won't create rapport.
Speaker ASo we have to create a method, a process to open the bridge constantly so that others who hear you can see themselves in your story.
Speaker AOkay?
Speaker AAnd there is a way to do that when you discover things, what changed for you and how to then generalize it or make it specific for the people that you're talking to.
Speaker AAnd that's just learning how to tell a story.
Speaker AThat's not changing the story.
Speaker AIt is developing a skill you don't have right now.
Speaker AYou want that skill?
Speaker ADream buildwrite it.com.
Speaker Athe skill of telling your story so that it creates rapport and connection and trust is the key to creating both the income and the impact you want.
Speaker AIf I or you, if we tell a story and it doesn't connect with people, it's not going to have any impact.
Speaker APeople certainly aren't going to pay for products or services that come from that.
Speaker AOn the other hand, if you learn to tell your story in a way that creates connection, impact, and makes people lean in and look at you and say, can you help me do that?
Speaker AThere is your impact.
Speaker AThere is your income.
Speaker ABecause since you've walked that road, the answer is always yes.
Speaker ANow, what I know about my own journey is that it's not a one and done.
Speaker AIt's an ongoing bunch of work that continues through today.
Speaker ASo that means today I am regularly seeking coaching, growth, learning opportunities, and I enroll in all kinds of stuff.
Speaker AWhy?
Speaker ABecause my commitment is to reach 300 million this year.
Speaker AMy commitment is to change the world.
Speaker AMy commitment is to love you.
Speaker AMy commitment is to encourage you to own the truth of your divinity, capability, possibility.
Speaker AI don't care if you work at McDonald's right now or you work on an assembly line or you're an Attorney or an accountant.
Speaker AIf you're not living in joy every day, if every day isn't the most exciting thing that you have, what are you doing?
Speaker AYou're wasting your time in your life.
Speaker ASo let's change that.
Speaker ABecause purpose, prosperity and joy is your birthright unless you reject it.
Speaker AYour ability to make an impact and serve and bless others is your birthright unless you reject it.
Speaker AYour ability to be well supplied and prosperous is your birthright unless you reject it.
Speaker AYou say, I would never reject that.
Speaker AYes, you do.
Speaker AYes, you are.
Speaker AIf you're not using the greatest gift you have, which is the story of your own development and becoming.
Speaker AHere are some ways that people that I work with create big income and impact.
Speaker AThese are all ways that I teach and help and that I use in my own life.
Speaker ASpeaking.
Speaker AI appear on hundreds and hundreds of shows, podcast stages and so forth.
Speaker AI didn't get that magically.
Speaker AI didn't somehow get a magic secret that got me invited.
Speaker AI'll show you how if you want to.
Speaker AMaybe you don't want to speak.
Speaker AHere's another one.
Speaker APodcast guest appearances.
Speaker AI'm on those all the time.
Speaker APeople regularly tell me you're the best guest I've ever had.
Speaker AI can't believe this happened.
Speaker AI'm not magic.
Speaker AI have learned to use the story that I have in a way to empower the guest or empower the host and empower the audience.
Speaker AI can teach you that.
Speaker AHere's another thing.
Speaker ASocial media content.
Speaker ATons of people say to me, oh, I'd love to coach with you, but I how much does it cost?
Speaker AWhat are the arrangements?
Speaker AAnd oh, I can't afford that right now.
Speaker AYou know what I do, I love them.
Speaker AI say, well, here's a book.
Speaker ARead that.
Speaker AOr here's a bunch of videos that I've got.
Speaker AGo there and mine it for all that it's worth.
Speaker AAnd that's one of the reasons I do this podcast.
Speaker AOne of the reasons I do so much social content is I'm trying to help everybody that wants it.
Speaker ASo being good.
Speaker AAnd again, it's good storytelling is what is engaging.
Speaker AYou have books you have written, especially if you go to Dream Build write it.
Speaker AYou have programs you've created, you have stuff you already offer business services, but it's driven by passion and purpose.
Speaker ASo there's all kinds of ways that right now you can create income and impact.
Speaker ACash for your story was the name of this.
Speaker AAnd so the version you have the ability to create impact and income.
Speaker AAnother skill that we developed for you is the Ability to alter or adjust your story based on the context.
Speaker AYou've heard people that get up, at least I have.
Speaker AYou probably have.
Speaker AAnd tell the same story, exactly the same, over and over again.
Speaker AWell, sometimes that works, but often it doesn't.
Speaker AWhat's more important is to know the room, know the podcast audience, and find out ahead of time so you can tailor the details of the story to their interests and their needs.
Speaker AThat maximizes the likelihood they'll connect with you.
Speaker AIt maximizes the likelihood there'll be a cue, a line after the talk.
Speaker AThe people that want to come and talk to you and want to talk to you more.
Speaker ALater in dream it, Build it, Write it, you'll discover all that.
Speaker ASo your story works on multiple platforms, social sales, in person conferences, that kind of thing.
Speaker AEven casual acquaintances.
Speaker AThey'll leave you enthralled with your brilliance.
Speaker AThey'll love you because you listen to them.
Speaker AAnd they'll see an affinity and connection.
Speaker AThat all drives cash for your story.
Speaker ASo here's.
Speaker AHere's the truth.
Speaker AI'm going to slow down because I want you to hear this.
Speaker AYour story, properly organized and told, can make more income and impact and more joy than anything else you can do.
Speaker AThat's a fact.
Speaker AYou will argue.
Speaker AIt's still true.
Speaker AAll right, here's how to make money and serve with your story.
Speaker AFirst of all, you have to get a mindset.
Speaker AA big mindset shift.
Speaker ABecause at least many do.
Speaker AMaybe not you.
Speaker AMany people say to me two things.
Speaker AOne, well, all this stuff should be free.
Speaker AAll spiritual development and helping and all that should be free.
Speaker ANobody should charge for that.
Speaker ABusiness is business.
Speaker AThat's the stupidest thing I ever heard.
Speaker AYou're free to volunteer and give away as much help as you want to, but I'll tell you what I know.
Speaker AWhen I don't charge money, nobody takes action.
Speaker AWhen people get free stuff, they don't do jack.
Speaker ANow that's not universally true, but it's 99% true.
Speaker AWe have statistics on that.
Speaker AThe rate of unfinished courses, like how many millions and millions of online courses have been sold.
Speaker AFrom everything to babysitting to gardening to life, you know, life coaching to mindset shifts to learning the piano.
Speaker A90 something percent, 85 to 90% have a non completion rate.
Speaker ADoes that mean the material was garbage?
Speaker ANo, that means people don't organize their lives to act on what they hear.
Speaker AGoes in one ear and out the other.
Speaker AUseless.
Speaker AYou want to maximize the chances that people are changed forever by your story.
Speaker ACash.
Speaker ACash is the biggest symbol of commitment.
Speaker ANow, some A lot of people buy stuff and they don't finish.
Speaker ABut the way you structure your story, your products and your services can maximize the likelihood that people get the benefit.
Speaker ACash.
Speaker AGuess what happens when they get the benefit?
Speaker AThey buy another one and another one and your impact and ripple goes through the world.
Speaker AYou can say, I don't care, then you're not here.
Speaker AYou're in the wrong place.
Speaker AIf you want to make money and make an impact, then you're in the right place.
Speaker ADream build, write.
Speaker AIt is the place to go.
Speaker AHere's what happens.
Speaker AA service loop, okay?
Speaker AAnd you can have, like I said, speaking engagements, coaching and consulting packages, online courses, books and audio programs, partnerships, sponsorships.
Speaker AAll that stuff's available.
Speaker AAll it's, all of it's available if you want it.
Speaker ASo here's the loop.
Speaker AYou use, you mine, your story, learn, come and learn how and dream build, write it.
Speaker AYou turn it into some kind of an offering.
Speaker ATalk, product, service, coaching, something.
Speaker AAnd then people get some kind of a change or result.
Speaker AThe way to maximize that possibility is create the great connection, charge money so they're invested and have a follow up so that they can talk about what it meant, what mattered and what changed for them.
Speaker AWhen they get some kind of result, where do they go?
Speaker AThey come back to you.
Speaker AYou were the catalyst, you were the facilitator.
Speaker ATwo people benefit, they grew you, your impact, credibility and opportunity grows all over the place.
Speaker ASo please don't let this go one ear and out the other.
Speaker AOkay?
Speaker AI have people right now who turned.
Speaker AI helped a fellow build a platform who and a product and service that he has now been running for 10 years.
Speaker AHe's made millions and it is based on his own passion, his own story, his own journey.
Speaker AAnd it has had that loop.
Speaker APeople buy stuff from him, they get results, they come back and buy more.
Speaker AThey give testimonials.
Speaker ABecause why?
Speaker ABecause it works.
Speaker AMost people get scared that if they sell something, it won't work.
Speaker AWell, you and I can't make people do stuff.
Speaker AWe can't make people finish the program.
Speaker AWhat we can do is maximize the likelihood by how we talk, how we sell the story, how we package and how we follow up.
Speaker AAnd the way to maximize that is well known.
Speaker AIt's not a mystery.
Speaker AIt's well known and a well traveled path.
Speaker AYou may not know it and you may not know how to use it.
Speaker AAnd if you're not, again, I invite you to come and be part of your own growth, your own changing of the world.
Speaker AWow.
Speaker AYou don't know what you can do until you get busy and try.
Speaker ASo here's the thing.
Speaker AIf you've been waiting for permission, this is it.
Speaker AIf you've been waiting for encouragement, this is it.
Speaker AIf you've been waiting for somebody to acknowledge you, love you and tell you you're valuable, this is it.
Speaker AI know how to do this.
Speaker AI'm doing it.
Speaker AI'm helping many, many others do it.
