"Your Authority Isn’t What Happened to You. It’s What You Became.
What if the thing you’ve spent years trying to hide is actually the source of your greatest authority?
Your story isn’t valuable because it was dramatic. It isn’t valuable because you suffered more than someone else. And it isn’t valuable simply because you survived.
It becomes valuable when you understand what those experiences changed in you—and then turn that understanding into something useful for someone else.
In this episode, Kellan Fluckiger explores why your authority isn’t what happened to you. It’s what you became because of it.

You know those movies where the end is a big fiery explosion and then somebody's walking forward out of the fire and you know, the hero or the heroine survived? Does life feel like that sometimes? Welcome to the show. Tired of the hype about living the dream? It's time for truth. This is the place for tools, power and real talk. So you can create the life you dream and deserve your ultimate life. Subscribe, share, create. You have infinite power. Hey there.Welcome to your ultimate life. The challenging, sometimes scary, often rewarding and very weird set of episodes. This podcast to explore a fundamental truth of eternity. You have a right to live a life of purpose, prosperity and joy. Whether you exercise that right or not. Hey, that's up to you. Because besides the right to live your ultimate life, you have the agency to create it.One of the interesting things about us as divine beings, compared to all the other life that moves, you know, horses and dogs and cows and cats and ants and spiders, we have this thing, these three special gifts. And you know what they are? Consciousness. And what I mean by that is the ability to think about yesterday or tomorrow or to think about our own thinking, right? A dog, as fun and beautiful and loving as they are, they don't think about their own thinking. I think we do that too much.Or we think about the future in the past too much. Did I say that right? Did I say it wrong? Do they like me? Are they gonna like me? Oh, I've got this presentation at my local BNI meeting.I hope I don't sound stupid or I'm going into a boardroom tomorrow to make a 2 million dollar proposal. I hope I don't trip over myself or I hope I don't forget one of my slides or whatever it is, right? We can think about those things and we do that too much. But this consciousness, being self aware is not something that it appears that any other living thing has.Trees and plants and like I said, the animals. And so it's a special thing that we have. What we do with it is up to us. Okay? The second special gift that we have is intention. Now I know that a cat stalking a mouse has the intention to get the mouse. So there's a limited amount of that. It was a funny story this morning. I was getting dressed at 5, 35, 45 because I always get up early. But the cat that we have was in the bathroom. We have this big mirror and it is right above the sink and goes all the way to the ceiling, not quite about a foot from the ceiling because the light fixtures are above that. But anyway, it's big. It goes on this side and then long and you know, we have a double sink since kind of big, but so the mirror is really big.But anyway, these two panels meet in the corner and Joy, that's her side of her sink and her side of the counter and she's got this box that contains. It's kind of big, it's like a foot, a little over a foot long and 10 inches wide maybe. And it's oval shaped and it sits in the corner right under where those two mirror panels come together. And for some reason, you know, it's got some hair gear in it. I I over my pay grade. But anyway, curlers and different things. But the cat was standing on the lid to that box and looking up and of course, right in the corner she can see herself in this mirror and this mirror and whatever, but she wasn't looking at herself. She, her eyes were glued upwards and I don't know what she was looking at. Now my eyesight's not very good. I mean, I wear great big contact lenses. They're called scleral lenses. And they're called scleral lenses because they're so big they go outside of the iris, the colored part, and to the white part. And I didn't know this until I started wearing these lenses. But the white part of the eye is called the sclera S C L E R A. Like you needed to know that, right? So lenses that go all the way out there called scleral lenses. And why I need these ridiculously big lenses is a story for another day.But I wear them and I wear them because my eyes are big, busted in a particular way that we'll talk about another time. But even with these special lenses, my vision isn't 2020, it's corrected to about 20, 40, 20, 35, you know, and so good enough to pass a driving test, but certainly not super good. The reason I tell you all that is I was look, staring up, looking, trying to find out what the heck the cat was looking at.And I could not see it for the life of me. I just kept looking and the cat got down. Her name, cats names, girls named Apostrophe. It's a cute name. And you know, we got her when she's really tiny. Now she's over one, so she's as big, I think, as she's going to get. And she is heavy. She's a big cat.But anyway, so she got down and then I did a couple other things and I turned around There she was again, staring up. So I'm assuming she was looking at a bug or a spider and her attention was focused. All that is to say, she certainly had the memory to come back. And the intention of I, you know, a snack or something that was so small I couldn't see it. But anyway, so there's an amount of intention. But when I talk about our gift of intention coupled with our consciousness, our ability to be self aware and to think about tomorrow and yesterday and make plans, I think about longer term intention.Like while I was doing my morning creation, which is my PTAC document and some physical stuff and it takes a couple of hours, you know, I thought about today, I thought about this episode, I thought about someone that I just got off the phone with that I was going to talk to all kinds of things and I had intentions around those situations, those interactions, how I was going to show up and etc, what I wanted to bring to those things. And I had intentions, I had intentions about my beautiful wife Joy, who I love with everything that I am. Oh, I love that woman. She's an angel, walks on water. Anyway, and the first intention I always have about Joy is just love her love. She's just, I, you know, so many ways I can't even describe how perfect she is and why in the world I ended up with the glorious beauty of being married to that, I will never know. But anyway, so we have intention. And the third thing we have is agency. Agency. And those three things together spell CIA, consciousness, intention, agency. Now a cat or a dog, and we have both. They have agency, chase the mouse or not, run up to the food bowl or not.But I don't know how much agency the dog has.I, I prepare the food, I put the dog outside and there's a big sliding glass door out to the backyard and he's standing on the deck, you know, does his business, comes back and stands by the door and pacing back and forth until I get the food ready and bring it out in, in the dog bowl. And when the dog sees me walking toward the door with the food bowl in hand, he proves his acrobatic lineage, right? He jumps sometimes, you know, foot, foot and a half off the deck, flying in the air with his paws against the glass because he's so excited the food's coming. So you one might suggest that he has agency about whether or not he jumps, but I don't know, I think that's more a pretty permanent reactive habit.Anyway, so we as humans have consciousness, intention and agency and that sets us apart. Completely Right. And what we do with that is what determines who we are as we walk through the world. Our consciousness, intention and agency. Now, I want to use that as I talk about this episode, because this episode, I called this the story. Your story is the proof you survived the fire. And the fire is like life. Life is a fire. It is a struggle. It is difficult and there are hard things. And I love every single second of the. Of the flame. I didn't used to. I used to complain and had habits about why me and all that sort of thing, and I don't anymore. But life is a fire. And I have decided that it is intended to test us right to the limit, all the time. And I'm in also just as convinced that my life is sub. Is created so that the events that I have are going to test me to the limit. So is yours.Different limits, different tests. But it seems like that. Anyway, so what I want to talk about today is, is like, see this phoenix? I loved it. I had.I talked to Chatty a little bit about what I was going to talk about today and use the, you know, surviving the fire and so forth and then told it some things that I wanted as an image. But I didn't say the Phoenix. And it came up here. And I love the phoenix. It's part of my own branding. And I loved it when Gryffindor and Harry Potter, you know, Fox, the Phoenix. I just love that Phoenix is exactly the metaphor for my life because. Because I sure was burned down in the ashes. And maybe you've had that experience too. And if my hypothesis is right, that life is designed to test us to the max, then you've had that also, right? Okay. Your survival. You survived the fire. It says that right there. You survived the fire. You did. And the book, underneath the Phoenix, there is your story. So let's talk a little bit about this. We. We've talked in many episodes about story. And I. I want us. I want you to see your life journey. I call it your story.I want to differentiate that from a memoir. This isn't a trauma dump. And it isn't just an autobiography or chronology of crap. This is an intentional crafting of the elements and events that have made you into the resilient, powerful, capable, loving, amazing person you are today. And make no mistake, you are capable, you are resilient, you are powerful, and you are yearning to add good to the world. You want to make a difference. You want to get paid. Well, I know that about you or you wouldn't be watching a Show on your ultimate life. All right, so one thing we have to remember is that the story of your life, meaning all those elements and events, they're not just emotional baggage. Okay? Sometimes people think of them as I got baggage. No, you don't.You have fire breathing events that shaped you, that forged you in the furnace of struggle. And the fact that you're here now and we're talking is proof. It's evidence, and it creates authority for you because you survived. It is also the raw material for service because we are built to love and serve each other. End of story. We are created in here to learn that our happiness is elevated most of all when we learn to love and serve.I don't care how much money you make or what position you have or how fast you drive your car or whatever. Our most elevated state, our biggest joy comes from love and service.Okay, so I want to start with a little bit of description about this emotional baggage. Your story or those elements and events. So let's create that connection.Every time I say the words, your story, what I mean is the elements and events that happened to you, that caused you to be where you are now. There's lots of other stuff that happened in life.I'm talking about those key 5, 10, 20, 50 big and little events that caused you to be the being you are.The things you love, the things you hate, the things you're committed to, the things you keep returning to as your passion, the things that created the desire that you have to serve. That's your story. So the elements and events that shaped you, that forged you and brought you where you are, that's.I call it your developmental story. I call it the story of your becoming. All those words you've heard me use. The elements and events that shaped you and got you where you are.And I realize everything did, but in the big, the bigger ways. Okay, here's something to understand. Your story isn't just something you carry. I want you to hear this.It may be the very thing somebody else needs just to survive. Have you thought about that? Your story might be just the thing that someone else needs to survive. It's precious. Now. People often hide their story. And again, those elements and events that got you where you are because you think it's too messy, too personal. I. Both of those. You know, when you talk about my history of failures and addictions and on and on and on, it is messy and personal. So both those hit me between the eyes. Boom. Sometimes people think it's too ordinary. That wasn't me. Okay. I didn't think there's anything ordinary about it.It was blistering and bleeding and at the fringes of all the time. But I have talked to people that say, yeah, I didn't have any of that. I didn't get sick. I didn't die. I know addictions, no abuse, no this, no that. And so they think it's too ordinary. That may be you, too. Sometimes people think it's too painful, like for themselves or for others. Now, if it's still too painful for you, there's some work there, because part of the work of therapy, for example, is to help that stop being the case. When someone says, deal with it or process it, all those words that means eliminating the present pain. Okay? There's no question.Whatever happened, happened to you, from you, that you did or someone did to you. That's all true. But it's over. You know, it was. It was then. We're talking about here and now.So unless it's still happening now, in which case, different path, get the hell out of this situation. Then there's work to do there.Because if those events are still causing you pain, there is some processing or work or releasing or letting go, or you, you know, whatever the words you want to use are. And that might need professional help. You might need a group or a therapist therapist or.Or whatever to process effectively and completely those things. So too painful can be real, but it doesn't have to be permanent. Another thing people reason, people hide their story is it's too incomplete. Okay.I just talked to somebody the other day. Yeah, yesterday, actually, I think it was. Or day before. But anyway. And they said, yeah, but I'm still a work in progress. And every time I hear that, I want to start laughing because so are we all. But here's the thing. If you think about the mountain of growth, I draw a volcano shape. But whatever a mountain of growth you are, wherever you are on it, you might be at the bottom, at the trailhead, you might be, you know, a third of the way up, halfway up, doesn't matter. Wherever you started your growth, wherever you started, a day, a week, a month, a year, a decade later, you're somewhere else on that path. You've walked through fires, you've done things, you've failed, you've succeeded, you've climbed. And so you're in a different place, but you're not done until you quit breathing. So it's always incomplete. If you're further right this minute than you were when you started, it's time to tell the Story because you wouldn't be here with the yearning to serve every person that I talk to, without exception, when I talk about your ultimate life. Yeah. Everybody says money, freedom, time, blah, blah, blah, that's great. And when, when I get past that and I say, okay, suppose you had all the money you wanted and all the freedom you wanted and all the time you wanted, what would you do? You know? And if your life has been really hectic or you've been overburdened, the only thing you might think about is vacay, vacay.Sitting on the beach, sitting in the house, reading, nothing to do, nobody calling me. Okay, let's assume that period of honeymoon has expired also, because I can promise you something.Get all the money in the world and all the time in the world, it would get boring. Maybe in a week, maybe in a day, maybe in a month, if you've had a really crazy ass life and you're at the verge of collapse. But it isn't going to last because we're built to love and serve. And so what's going to happen every time without fail is you're going to.This feeling is going to rise up in you that you want to do something, you want to give back, you want to serve. How you listen to it, whether you listen to it and how you manifest it, it's going to be unique to you and unique to each person. Okay? And so that's going to happen. And you wouldn't be here unless that was already happening a little or a lot. I want to give back. I want to do stuff. I got to help people, right?Enough. And that's just the phrase, I want to help people. And then I say, cool, what do you want to do? I don't know. I just got to help people. And so the, the first part is a little bit of excavation about how you want to help them. What is it that you do and offer that's so powerful and valuable? And it's always there. And guess what?100% Of the time it relates to those events and elements. Those elements and events that have got you where you are 100% of the time. All right? And so the fact that you're not at the top is not a reason not to use your story or to share it. Another reason, and the last one is people say it's too hard to explain. That's just nonsense. That's just too lazy. There's always a way to explain it.And remember, you, your, your journey may be exactly what somebody else needs to survive. So figure it out and I'll help with that. That's why this thing. Dream Build, write it. It's coming up here. Dream, Dream Build. Write it.If you've had a good life, if you've had an interesting life, if you've had a flipping boring life, I dare you. Dream Build. Write it. Dot com. Go there. Sign up. Let's spend that time together and don't sign up and then not come. Sign up and show up.Doesn't cost you anything except some time. All right? The story of your becoming or the elements and events that got you where you are is not valuable because it's dramatic. Hear that? It's not about the drama or the size of the failures or the mountain drops you can describe. Hear this. It's valuable because it changed you. It's valuable because it created who you are right now. Your story is not baggage. It is evidence. You're carrying proof that the fire, whatever it was, little embers or a raging furnace fire, or this flipping phoenix rising out of the ashes, you're. You're carrying proof that the fire didn't win. You're here. And that your own survival and what you specifically survived, I promise you, it's somebody else's map. And the only question is, are you willing to share? Are you going to be selfish and hog it all for yourself? I know you're not going to do that. All right, so let's talk about what makes a story powerful. Because repeatedly, as I help people in Dream Build, write it. Dream Build. Write it.Figure out your story, write a book, get it published, create products and services, serve the world, and get on the path to making your first hundred thousand. The book to bank, program. People want to know what makes it powerful. Meaning what will allow it to be somebody's map? What will allow it to help me create a business? What will allow it to help me add good to the world, have influence and income. So let's talk about what makes a story powerful.A powerful story is not a timeline. It's not it. Sometimes it might be, but it doesn't have anything to do with chronology. It's not.I was born here and this happened, and then this happened, and now here I am. It's not that. Okay? What it. What it always contains is choice. Moments of pivot and change. It often contains conflict, not necessarily violence and war. Internal conflict. Moments of choice, moments of indecision. It contains cost. Opportunity cost. What did I gain? What did I lose? When you go down this road, you close other doors. If you live a life trying to Always keep the door. All the doors open. You're toast. You'll never get to a destination.A powerful story contains realizations or revelations. Wow. I didn't think of it that way. Oh, what a new possibility. Insights A powerful story contains transformation this changed me.From then on, I no longer thought about things this way, or I realized the way I'd been looking at this was completely wrong. I have a story about that kind of transformation that literally changed my life in a moment. Okay. And I'm going to share it right now.I struggled for decades, literally decades, with untreated, undiagnosed and untreated mdd, Major Depressive disorder. And it caused all kinds of dysfunction in my life, ET Etc.One of the manifestations of that was that I felt like when people talked to me, no matter what they were saying, I felt criticized and like I had failed to do something. And so that created in me a. A desire or a pattern of defensiveness or of hiding. So after Joy and I got married, and the story about how that happened in 2007 is another miracle, but we don't have time for that space. It was a time I began. I began to realize and started working on these things and began my own journey of transformation. And she said something to me one day, and true to my old nature, I felt attacked. I felt like she had been. Was attacking me. And I said to her, why are you saying that you're. Why are you attacking me? And she said, oh, I'm not.And I was defensive. And I said, well, it sounded like you were. And in fact, I decided to get, you know, more. A little more aggressive, elevate a little bit.And I said, anybody that listened to you say that with any brains at all would think you were attacking me. And she didn't take the bait because she never does. She said, no, I wasn't. And, you know, I don't know, but I didn't mean that. So I.Because I was in the process of working on these things, I didn't take that bait, and I didn't escalate further. I went and sat down for a minute, and I thought. I thought the following. What else could this mean?Because I'd interpreted it as an attack, and I'd say it. Anybody else hearing that would think it was an attack. And, you know, like, what else could it mean? That kind of thought. So I went and sat down and asked the question again, only instead of saying, what else could it mean? I said, hmm, what else could it mean? And that question brought to mind an Image, right? And the image was of a place that I used to have season passes to ski. And there was a lift that went up out of the valley on this side, and it overlooked a valley on the right. And there was a lift that went up this way and overlooked the very same valley on the left. And one day, going up this lift, the one on the. The right, I had my right, maybe left you. I looked at the valley and I thought, wow, how interesting. The valley looks completely different than from the other lift, which is the one I usually used because I like those runs better. And I thought, same tree, same snow, same this, same that, but it looks completely different over here.So that experience had been in real life that I'd had that experience riding these ski lifts. And so when I sat down and said, what else could it mean? All of a sudden, that image came into me of the valley and the snow and the two lifts and how different it looked. And the phrase came to me in that moment of reflection. There is another mountaintop, obviously, meaning, you know, there is another way to look at this that is completely different, even though it's the same valley. That revelation crumbled the entire thing for me. There is another mountaintop. And I didn't know what it was yet in the context of this conversation, but that realization just hit me like a ton of bricks. And it was like, I've never forgotten it.And what it did is all of the foundation I had of being attacked and everything else just literally crumbled. Like, I felt it crumble from in my body and everywhere because I thought, there is another mountaintop. Then, instead of being defensive, what I ought to be looking for is the view from the other mountaintop. Anyway, so that was an example of this transformation by a simple question. When you tell your story, the important question isn't, oh, well, what happened to you? It's what did it teach you or me? What did it cost me? What did it cost me to learn it?Like, what that example cost me is before, when I interpreted everything as an attack. It cost love, relationships, you know, good feeling, and everything else. When I realized that what it taught me part is, there is another mountaintop, it let me quit assuming anything right away. I just thought, I don't need to assume that. Other questions besides, what did it teach you? Or what did it cost? Or what did you choose? What did you become even a little different because of this event? Remember, elements and events that make make up the story of how you got where you are today. And the other, another question is, now That I see those things, how can I help other people see or do something different now? Meaning that map where your story can be a map, and when you ask those kind of questions, what did it teach you? What did it cost? What did I choose? How did I become different? And then you say, how could I use those understandings to help others? That's the basis of your offer to the world.Because your journey through those events and your understanding and learning and so forth, that's your unicorn horn. That's the thing you have that makes you completely different, uncopyable.Because anybody else talking about those same things doesn't have the authority or power because you're talking from those things. Events are not the story. The becoming is the story. Okay? A timeline informs people. The transformation approach that I just described, that transfers the learning to them. Your authority is not going to be ever in what happened. It's going to be in what you became because of it. So write that down.Your authority isn't because you went through this, that and the other. I don't care how terrible or interesting or traumatic or whatever it was. What matters is what you became because of that thing.Okay, now I want to talk about for a minute why people minimize the story of their becoming, those events and elements. Why they minimize it because they'll say stuff like, well, everybody's got a story. Mine is not special. Other people had it worse. All true.Everybody does have a story. Mine is not special. Not true. It's only special if you discount it. Because your story might be someone else's survival map.And I'm repeating that I am because it's true and because it's important. Other people had it worse is also true. And that's got nothing to do with it.The people looking for your map don't need it to be worse for it to be their map. In fact, if it was way worse, it may not even resonate.Another thing people say is, well, just because I went through this, I'm not an expert, I'm not saying it makes you an expert in psychology or trauma relief or any of that stuff, but you are a world class, one of a kind expert at going through the things you went through because you're here, does it mean you couldn't have gone through them better? It doesn't mean any of that and it doesn't need to, right? Doesn't need to mean you were perfect. It just means you got there, you've got this learning and you have a desire to share another one that I hear all the Time that's funny is I'm still figuring it out. Okay, so are we. All that goes back to the mountain of growth. You started here and now you're here. This is a valuable piece of real estate. The fact that in a year or two or five you're going to be here doesn't mean that this isn't valuable real estate. What it means is you need to write another book, program or offering covering this piece. But if you wait till you're here, trying to do this all at once may be completely beyond the ability of the perfect person. You need to talk to their ability to understand it. Yeah, everybody has a story. That's all true. But the number of people who have intentionally integrated their story or extracted the wisdom, you can count on one hand, as a percentage, what I notice and I again, I talk to a lot of people, less than 5%. One person in 20 has actually done the work to explore what have. What have I been through? What did I think then, what do I think now? What have I learned and how can I serve with that?1 In 25% or less have actually done any work, and I would say 1% have actually fully extracted the wisdom and then decided to really go do something with it. On top of that, not everybody has even got the courage to tell the truth. I talk to people all the time that say, I can't. I can't do this.Because then they list a bunch of reasons. They would be embarrassed. Somebody else will be mad. Whatever it is, your ability to serve and love way outweighs anybody else's discomfort. And on top of that, not everybody's willing to turn the path that they walked into service. Yeah, I walked it. I'm good. I'm out. Forget it. Never want to talk or think about it again. You're free to do that, but you wouldn't be here talking about this if you didn't want to do something. Okay? You don't need the most dramatic story. You need the most honest relationship with the story. You got the elements and events that are yours.Your honest relationship with that is worth a million dollars. If you're willing to do the work. You think it's ordinary because it's yours. The thing you dismiss out of hand is the thing that makes you useful.Your normal will be somebody else's breakthrough. Okay, I think about again, this beautiful phoenix here and the power of the story of rebirth. Now, the phoenix bird born out of the fire, and then it gets older. And when it gets old, it explodes into flames. And you know, the the tiny chick is born out of the ashes. And you saw that in one of the Harry Potter movies. I don't remember which one. One of the later ones. And it's beautiful. I resonate with that so fully because I was in the ashes.Okay, so the Phoenix resonates with me and maybe you too, but only if we use it, only if we have this take, allow the story to be the proof that we survived the fire. And that's only step one. Yeah, look at all this tough stuff.I survived, you know, abuse and this and without parents and orphanage and da da, da, I survived. If we don't turn that survival chain into a service oriented path and all we're doing is claiming bragging rights. So here's the authority chain.Lived, your lived experience and mine becomes authority, real world unicorn authority. When we examine it, when it is examined and we've looked at it in terms of what did I think? What do I think now? What did I learn? How can I help? That's what examining it means when it is integrated into our lives. Meaning I'm not just talking about it and saying, you know, you could learn a lot from this. That's stupid and it's weak.I have integrated these learnings and here's how it's helped me. That's powerful. So examined, integrated, the third part is articulated. So if we don't share it, it does nothing. And then the next step is to structure it. Because you're on my journey through. Our path was disjointed. This happened and this happened and then something that happened a few years ago mattered and, and so it doesn't happen in this nice linear fashion. And so not only do we have to examine it and we have to integrate it, meaning it changes us and be willing to share, but we have to structure it in a way that is most useful because one of the most important things that you or I can offer from this story, surviving the fire, as it were. Sorry, surviving the fire is a shortcut time compression.Because maybe you know me, I struggled with untreated, undiagnosed depression for 35 years from the time I was 17 until the time I was 52. It destroyed me, it destroyed relationships, it caused addictions and suicide attempts and la la la la.Well, it took me 35 years before I even started with the stuff I've talked about, examined, integrated, articulated. And so if I'm, if I'm offering something, I don't want to offer a 35 year path. I want to offer somebody a path they can walk. In a few months. And so you get a 35x compression. That's valuable if you can take your lived experience, it took you a year, 10 years, 20 years, 35 in my case. And you can compress that into something they can do in a year or two that's worth a million dollars to the right people in the right situations. I'm not saying stand on a street corner and wave a book in your hand. You're going to get somebody bump, say, I'll pay a million for it.Maybe not likely. But the time compression alone is worth exponential money. The last piece is it has to be offered. So even after you've structured it, if you don't create some kind of an offering to people who need it, for whom your story is the survival map, then again, it does nothing in terms of help and nothing in terms of business. So if you want to make an income and an impact in the world in the most powerful way, the story of your becoming is the ticket. And I've just explained why. Because without structure, it's just private wisdom that you gathered over however many years or decades. With structure, it becomes public service.I found that a book is the most strategic way to do this. And it's really simple. It makes you consolidate and integrate things in a. In a powerful and important way.The process forces you to tell the truth, organize the lessons and specifically name the transformation, shape the message, create a framework and tool you know, creates a body of work. Otherwise it's the scattered stuff in your head. And that's not very valuable because it's scattered. So when you do the work to organize and integrate and structure and present it, that work multiplies the value of your experience by a hundred. That's why this is worth big cash. It's not a mystery because you've organized, integrated, structured, and offered something that saves enormous time and heartache and energy. Authority is integrated experience made useful. So when you've taken all your experience and you've done that organization and structure and you've now presented it, you've integrated all that stuff and you've made it useful to create fabulous time compression.A book is the where your private wisdom becomes public service and programs and services you offer from that becomes your ticket to wealth and bigger impact. You become credible with authority, not by pretending, but by integrating. Your story is not just an interesting thing, it is service. It is helping people do something better and faster than they ever could remember. It's not about attention or just self expression, or about personal validation, or about trauma performance. It's about service. It's about offering your skill and love and help and vision and impact. Because somebody's walking the road you already walked. It can take them 35 years or 35 months or three and a half months.Somebody's already fighting right now, fighting the battle you already won and that you understand. Somebody staring at the same wall that trapped you. If your story integrated into a book and products can shorten their suffering.Silence is not neutral, it's painful. Story told for validation is noise. Story told for service is power. If your experience can shorten someone else's suffering, then we owe it.That's our giving back. Okay, so I just wanted to talk about the fact that your story is proof you survived. And when you integrate and organize it, it gives you a unicorn offering in the world to satisfy that deep yearning we all have to make a difference, to give back, to help people, and to become well paid. Now if you've heard this and it makes sense to you and you'd like to know how to do it right now so you can start mining your life for the story that matters, like we've talked about, and turn it into a book and products and service.
