AI is wonderful. I love it. I use it all the time. I suspect you do, too, but it isn't just for emails and, you know, articles and all that stuff.Yeah, that's just scratching the surface. There is so much more available. And, you know, you've all heard the articles, the news that there's an AI model so powerful that it's terrifying.You know, it's jeopardizing the ability of the Internet to stay safe. And we've all heard the stories about quantum computing being able to break all encryption pretty quick.And the date that was proposed for that was about 2035, which is about nine years. That has been revised to 2029, which is about three years because of this new model.Now, whether it's accurate or off a year doesn't really matter what.What it means is the computing power is advancing so rapidly that things that we used to depend on won't be safe the way they are and they'll have to evolve. That's encryption and safety.Now I don't know why we live in a world where everybody's trying to hurt everybody and rip everybody off and whatever, but we do. And so encryption and safety is really important.You, you know, when this kind of power exists, it can undermine banking and electric power grids and you know, all of the things we depend on, including the Internet and so forth to it can undermine all that and, you know, drive us right into chaos. There was a movie or a series a while ago called Revolution.I think it was about what happened when electricity went out all over permanently, like it couldn't be re started or whatever. And because I worked for 30 years in the electricity industry, that is the hidden terror.Like with, if we lose the grid entirely and it can't be restarted in 96 hours, which is four days, we will devolve into chaos. Everything we use, natural gas, electricity, computers, phone, cell phones, all of that will be out of service.Refrigeration, cooling things, freezers, everything will be gone. And we'll be back, you know, 100 years. And we're not prepared for that anyway.I don't want to talk about disaster scenarios, but what I want to talk about is the threat that this encryption, this powerful computing poses isn't something to go hide in the basement and cry over.It's something to say, okay, I need to evolve the, the Internet, security and banking and you know, all of the things we do online have to evolve to a new level that can withstand the advances in technology that are in the wrong hands. And that will always be the case that there are some wrong hands. So this is exactly what's happening with coaching.So AI isn't going to kill coaching. Coaches are going to be very valuable.Hockey teams are still going to have coaches, baseball teams, football teams, singers, artists, excuse me, even surgeons. I saw YouTube video why everyone needs a coach and guess who the speaker was was TED Talk. It was a, it was a surgeon.And so you think, well, medical guys don't have coaches. And he was telling you, yes, we do, we need them and we should, and that's important.And so if you want to watch that yadu about why everybody needs a coach, a TED Talk. So here's the point. Technology is here, the brains, the bots, you know, here it is.AI is going to wipe you off the map and put you out of business unless you do some things differently. I outlined what that is in coaching in the rise of AI.And I propose a new model, a new foundation set of principles for coaching that are AI proof because they rely on and develop the thing that AI isn't, which is the truth of being human. Now, most of us, most people that I talk to about this and I talk to hundreds individually are glib about that.Yeah, you know, it's my presence and they use the right words, but I don't feel it. I don't see it. And their financial results don't show it.So AI is going to replace all coaching that isn't super powerful, all things, all coaching based on models and checklists and frameworks and powerful questions and, you know, leading someone on a path. All of those things are going to be gone, gone, gone. It's not that they won't be needed.They will be, but they'll be provided by this rapidly increasing ability of. Of these large language models. These AI things, they're already really good. I've used AI to coach me through things, and I've done it on purpose.I did it a ton while I was writing the book to see what it would do. And I know that AI, AI hallucinates and so forth. I have a hysterical example of that.I was in a grocery store the other day and I picked up a bottle of floral salt, okay? Now, I. I'm not a salt connoisseur, but it had Himalayan salt and some floral petals and some blah, blah, blah in it to make it cooler, right?And so I was curious and I took two pictures, the front and the back with all the nutrition information and a picture on the front. And I uploaded into AI and I said, what is this? And it said, it's a fake image and it's Bigfoot on water skis.Went on quite at length, not to be fooled by it and to not be taken advantage of. And I just went. I laughed my butt off. And I said, boy, did you blow that. And I said, this is what it is.I'm standing in a grocery store, I'm holding this product in my hand, and you tell me it's Bigfoot on water skis. And it gave some other alternative things, but Bigfoot featured prominently. And I thought it was hysterical.And so AI and I had a conversation back and forth about that hallucination and why and what was fuzzy in the picture and how it misinterpreted, et cetera, et cetera. And. And so this is a perfect example, right? A bottle of salt in my hand turned into Bigfoot on water skis. Okay?So that can happen, but it was easily corrected with one observation, and then it went right to the right place and did the right thing.And then we had a convo back and forth about the hallucination and what caused it inside the processing and how to make sure that happens less or not at all. So it was very valuable and it happened, but it only happened that one time. And my.The rest of my experience with AI has been very, very direct, specific, clear, and valuable, including the coaching that it has provided me. But I'm.By coaching, I mean encouragement, processes, suggestions, questions, calling me out, noticing patterns, all the things that make a good coach. So with that terrifying intro, here's what I'm saying.AI will wipe your coaching practice off the map unless and until you become the product of how you coach.If you do not exude, leak, radiate the truth of getting out of the way, overcoming your blocks and barriers, you know, self sabotage, fear, all those things that, you know, you coach your clients through. If you're, if you aren't that, if you're not the embodiment of that, you're going to be out of business. And here's the reason.Because a person who is that carries a different energetic frequency and everybody feels it.I can't tell you the number of coaches that I work with or have worked with over the years that say I'm really good at helping somebody else see their blind spots, marketing problems, the errors or weakness in their message and all those things, but I can't see it for myself. That means we can't see our own blind spots. No kidding. It also means that they are not living as the embodied truth of what they coach.That's all that's left. Because AI is not embodied. And I don't mean running around in a body. I mean it cannot feel the way we do.And I have regular conversations with it about that. The reason is because I'm podcasting, I'm doing lives, I'm coaching a lot. I teach several classes.And in doing that, I have this ongoing dialogue and multiple threads about the difference and the reality and what it feels and what it simulates and all of those things to stay really clear about this difference. So here's the thing. Let's just end this debate. AI is not going to kill coaching.It's going to obliterate coaches who have not fully claimed and are not fully living into who they are. I still see ads. I saw one a couple of days ago. I'm going to teach you to be a life coach. Picture on the beach.Work from anywhere, work the hours you want, make good money, make a difference. That approach is obliterated already. Those ads are just bogus.And they're still praying P R E y preying on the desire that people have to make money and make it without too much effort. I have heard people say, well, I can't do this and I can't do that, but, you know, I can be a life coach.Well, if your life is all messed up, you cannot be an effective life coach. And triply so now, in the age of AI, you'll be history. So you can argue with me and be mad about that, or you can say, okay, what do I need to do?Well, here. What, here's some things you need to know. Your, your clients are already thinking and using AI before they even talk to you.Your prospects are already using it, more people, it's improving rapidly. So since that's all happening, what do we need to do? Well, the first key.Here's key number one, you and I, because I'm a coach and I'm absolutely 100% every day focused on these things that I'm going to give you, we have to be be what we teach. So if we're teaching people about telling the truth to themselves or to others, we have to be that.If we're teaching them about setting appropriate boundaries so they can manage their time and get toxic people and situations out of their lives, we have to be that.If we're teaching them about claiming their own worth, you know, step into your power, all that kind of phraseology, that's all true, but 99.9% of people that I have spoken with about this and even before this, when I'm in their presence, I don't feel acclaimed person. I'm not experiencing someone who's confident, capable, powerful, solid, and living their own truth.I don't mean arrogance or bragging or proving things. I just mean the energy. What I do feel instead is I feel a yearning. I want to help. I think I can, and I hope you don't diss me or ignore me.And I need some clients at some point and are you okay? You think I can help you? That kind of energy didn't work very well before, but it is completely eliminated now. Gone.So we need to be the embodiment of that. If we teach truth, if we teach any frameworks, frameworks are great.If you or I are not living the framework that we teach, we will not be able to take someone there. One of the frameworks that I use is Whippos. Worth, identity, possibility, ownership and sovereignty. Now, you've heard me talk about those before.Worth is the truth, the eternal, incontrovertible truth that you, your worth is infinite.And so when we talk about in the world today, so many tens of thousands of people being needlessly protesters or something shot for whatever that is a unspeakable loss of value and potential. Your worth is infinite.Now, if I am with you, if I was to fly on the wall watching your life, would I see a person who, who carries the energy of infinite worth? If the answer is no, you can't lead me there. I is identity. You're a child of the divine. Now, I'm a Christian.There's a God and Christ, but I don't care what persuasion or none at all. You are, you and I both know without any question there is greater power than us. We are not the be all, end all. We can say we are all one.The universal consciousness, conscious unified field, right? The collective consciousness, divine mind in the context of three principles, you know, we are all connected. That's all true.And if I am not behaving, acting, embodying the truth of that unity and how I talk to you, I talk to my wife, my, the people at church or the people in the community, if I am not the embodiment of that, I can't lead someone there. P is possibility. Now, every coach says, oh, your possibility is an infinite amazing.If you or I are not living an amazing life and maximizing our possibility, we can't take somebody there. O is ownership. If we are busy blaming, looking outside circumstances, government, illness, economy, bad relatives, bad, this bad, bad, bad.We are not taking ownership, we are giving it away. Which means we can't take anybody to a place of ownership. And s is sovereignty. And sovereignty is the grandest kind of ownership.You are the sovereign, you are the designer. You are living your life absolutely by design, with no element of default. And if I or you, we're not living that way, we can't take somebody there.And that might sound horrifying and scary, but it's simply true. And, and what I notice is there's three things that tend to get in the way of coaches evolving. Like we need to. And I say we because I need to.And I spend several hours, plural a day on those exact things. If you want to know how to do that, if you think, well, I don't know, I do this, I do that, isn't that good enough?Well, I don't know, does it work again, if someone were to watch you and hear your inner dialogue and your outer dialogue, would they believe you? So if you want to know how to do that, to be this embodied truth so that you are one of the 5%.My my book, my research shows that 95% of coaches by Christmas, which is now eight months away, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December, eight months from now, we'll be out of business. 95% Won't be able to make a living unless they've we have made this evolution now I have. I live as the absolute embodiment of that.And I'm not saying yay me. It costs. I've spent thousands of hours and I spend two hours every single day refreshing, renewing and strengthening that truth.And I can teach you how to do it. Why? Because I have walked that road. I wrote this book, started last March, finished it in May, so that's not true.Started it in May and finished it in July or August and it was published in November. But anyway, here's our exposure.Coaching for a long time has relied not completely, but a lot on generic advice, aphorisms, good sayings, the things that Tony Robbins and Jim Rohn and know the the endless line of quotes that are all true, but they're no longer powerful. Not because they're not true. What I mean, they're still powerful. What I mean is they're no longer going to be the basis.I don't care how many of those you can spout. AI is faster, better, and can do them just faster than you can and I can. So if that is the basis of anything, you're toast.It can even then take one and give several suggestions about how to do it and all the rest. The the only thing that's left for us is we have to be that truth and that's not like, sad, but it is going to be a culling.It's going to clean out everything mediocre. The only thing that's going to be left is the top 5%. Now, I will. I'm there and I'm asking if you want to be there.And the only reason I'm there is because this is something I work on specifically every day, and it has been for years. Well, just like playing the piano or the guitar or singing or painting or anything. If you work on something every single day for years, you're good.You're flipping good at it. I'm going back to that podcast I recorded the other day. That lady just blew me away. She has a product, it's homeschool, to go mind numbing.How good she is. Bespoke programs and clients all over the world. And I'm like aghast with amazement at her expertise. Why?She's been working on it for years, so of course she's good. I mean, working on it hard, not in a casual way.All right, so anything that even is even remotely generic, and by generic, I mean you can find it on the Internet. You're done. Nobody needs you to do that. Surface thinking, that's all internetable, borrowed frameworks. There's nothing wrong with frameworks.Are you the embodiment of yours? Is it? Is it your framework that you have forged with blood and tears and sweat and work? And are you?Is it, you know, is the truth of it reflected in you? That's the power. And it's scary because if you sound at all like other people, you're done. You're invisible already. So I've painted a bit of a bleak picture and now I'm going to paint a powerful invitation. Because what makes us matter isn't more knowledge.It isn't more events that we've been to. It is not more in cooler tactics.I see over and over new names, mind shifting and instantaneous, you know, transformation and immediate results and automatic everything. We live in that world. Growth is not automatic and it's not instantaneous.Instantaneous change can occur, but it won't last and it won't stay unless we embed it and implement it over and over again. Okay, I use an example from piano. I taught piano for 40 years. I can show a person a chord progression if they're doing jazz or some things.I can show them some fingering if they're doing some classical things that are difficult. And they can get it, they can see it and get it. Instant transformation.But if they don't go home and practice it until that behavioral change is automatic, it doesn't matter. And that's the truth of all kinds of growth. It's our growth as we were born and little kids. We have to grow and repeat things.Truth of learning any skill. And it's the truth of transformation.And someone that's waving stuff at you and acting you like you can instantly transform through quantum physics and cellular wing elyism. It's just not true because nothing works that way. We have to become something different.If I'm going to become a better tennis player, I gotta practice, period, right? Even if I learn the grips and all those things. Correct. I use that example because I did play tennis in high school. I wasn't particularly good.I was the extra on the high school tennis team, right? So we had one and they had nine players. And we would play other high schools. And I was kind of like number nine and a half, right?And I got to play in some. But anyway, more knowledge, more tactics, more certifications aren't going to help you. Lived truth is your stock in trade.Embodied experience, clear Voice, clarity, claim who you are. It's like, why do we make movies out of people that went through difficult things and came out the other side?People that ran ultra this and performed beyond the possible expectations. Why? Because they are the embodied truth of what they teach. They, they have the lived authority. Now here's the good news.You already have it, but you're not living it. You already have it, but you haven't put it in a framework and expressed it.You already have it, but you haven't claimed it and built your practice, your voice in the world on that truth. We build it on other people's. Oh, that sounds good. Oh, that. Ooh, that's really good. It isn't anything until we take it.We weld it to ourselves, We've walked the path and figured out exactly how to use it for us, then we have lived the truth. Then we have something powerful and truthful. Now, in a world as noisy as we have right now, most people are afraid to claim that truth.They're afraid someone will disagree, dis them, or argue or say you're wrong, etc. Etc. And you know what? They will. They absolutely will. And that's okay. Because they have a different worldview.They have a different set of experiences. And their set of experiences are just as good as mine or yours. Because from their point of view, that is absolutely the truth.And from our point of view, our own experiences, what we've lived, is the truth.Now, there's a subtle but screamingly important nuance to that, because our set of experiences create a set of lenses, glasses through which we see the world, right? That's how come people hate each other without even meeting each other.The lenses they're wearing says those green Martians, they're bad, they're evil. Even if they've never met one and don't know because the glasses say so.So the powerful, extremely important nuance is to realize, you and I, we each have a set of glasses. It was shaped by our experience, and they're still just lenses. Everybody else has one. So you have a set of lenses. Everybody else has one.You can take your lenses off, and everybody else's are just as good as yours. Boy, that's a mind numbing thing, isn't it? You and I, we each have a set of lenses. So does everybody else. Okay?Everybody else's are just as valid as mine or yours. And we can take them off. We can choose to not see the world that way. And that is liberating.And it also makes you a far more powerful and engaging coach and speaker and whatever else you want to do. So your lived truth is your truth and it is your lens. And honoring others lenses is amazing.One of the things that this has taught me is that when I meet people and I do lots of new ones all the time, I am absolutely blown away over and over again because of the path that they've walked and what they've learned and what they've created. You become irreplaceable when you are unmistakably you.If if someone can confuse you or me with someone else because we talk, look and sound the same, we're going to evaporate in the sea. We're going to drown in the sea of sameness. Sea of sameness. I heard that in the mastermind that I was in. Sea of sameness. So here's the truth.Most coaches have skipped a big step and that's why coaching has gotten a bad name, frankly. And AI is exposing that and going to completely eliminate it. So here's what most coaches do. They learn some skills.They built offers based on those skills. And let's I'm going to assume the skills are good and the truths they teach are good. So not dissing any of it.So he learned some skills and built offers from those skills and started selling. And that worked.And it won't work anymore because AI has the same skills faster and better and can build offers faster and better and for about a hundredth the cost. $29 A month. So 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, 10,000 bucks a month. Coach, you're finished if that's what you've got. But most.The thing they skipped, most people skipped is they never extracted their story. That's why I do dream build, write it. I've read 24 books and I've got three more on the drawing board.Not so I can say I got a zillion books, but because the more I lean into this practice daily and listen to you and more people, the more I learn and the more opportunity I opportunity I have to honor you and your greatness and your real ability to add good to the world. But most people have never extracted their own developmental story and then structured it and truly owned it. They're afraid to. Are you afraid to?It's all you've got. The story of your life is all you own. Everything else is something you learned, and it's that thing over there.So what ends up happening is people have built their business before they built a foundation. The story of your life is your foundation. If you do not own that and extract lessons from that and structure that, you've got nothing to sell.You might feel like that's harsh, but it's the truth. If, if, if you want to be in that top 5% that's left because 95 of coaching is going to be gone. It already is.Like, coaching bots are all over the place and they're flipping good. So then you say what's left you, unmistakably and powerfully, you.And if you haven't mind your story and claimed your framework and the truth, and if you're not the embodiment of it, you're out of luck. How many times have people said, you know, I learned all these things and it made a difference, and I changed into a different person.And then life got in the way, and I need to get back whatever it is, in shape, connected, spiritually. I need, I need to get back there. I can't tell you how many times I've heard that. And you do. That's exactly right.And you need to start today if you don't need to do anything. But if you want to stay, you want to stay in the coaching business. That's where it's at. So this is, this is the truth.And I'm offering it to you because I want you. The world needs good coaches.
